Karim City College was established in 1961. It is affiliated to Kolhan University, Chaibasa and Accreditation awarded B+ by NAAC.
The institute offers Arts and Commerce Degree course, and is affiliated to Ranchi University. The institute offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Application, Mass Communication and Education.
In order to evaluate the candidates for admission to the various UG and PG courses, the college publishes the Provisional rank list and the respective students are called up for the Interview. After that, the college publishes the Final rank list for the selected candidates.
Karim City College UG Admission 2024
At Undergraduate level, the college offers B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BCA, B.Ed courses under a number of specializations. B.A. is offered with 10 different specialization subjects, whereas, B.Sc. is offered with seven different specializations. All the UG courses offered are for a period of three years except for the B.Ed programme for which the duration is two years.
Admission to these UG courses start in the month of June and are based on merit of the students at 10+2 level. Students who are eligible are called up for the Interview. Admission to the Mass Communication programme is done through a Written/Aptitude Test and interview.
In order to get admission to the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application (BCA), selection will be made on the basis of written test followed by viva-voce.

Karim City College PG Admission 2024
The college also offers a number of PG courses, both through regular and distant mode, under various specialization subjects for the graduate students willing to pursue higher education in the subjects. All the courses are for a period of two years. Apply for PG Courses
Admission to the PG courses starts in the month of July and the eligible candidates in the Provisional Rank List are called up for an interview based on the performance of which a candidate gets selected for the course.

Karim City College Application Process
- Forms and prospectus will be available at the college counter after payment of Rupees 500/-
- Completely filled in application form alongwith attested copies of marksheet of the qualifying exam and other testimonials must be submitted (Students have to enclose a DD of Rs.400 in the name of Principal, Karim City College, Jamshedpur with this form and send it to college address)
- Forms can also be downloaded from the college web site.
- The Downloaded form (completely filled in) must be sent to The Prof-in-Charge, Dept. of Mass Communication, Karim City College, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand 831001 alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 in favor of The Principal, Karim City College, Jamshedpur.

- Everything is neutral and fine there. They have Gym, library, common room for Indoor games.
- There is no raging, everybody lives in discipline.
Dislikes
- Parking slot outside the college. I will rate it 5 out of 10, there's not a lot of space so not everytime I get chance to park in the slot sometimes I use to park somewhere else.
- Water is not so purified, but eligible for drinking. And I will rate washroom 2 out of 10. Only the washroom needs development seriously.
Admission:
See, first of all, it is the most famous college of Jamshedpur and it is the best college for us, our senior citizens also studied from Karim City College. You will not get to see as much development in all the colleges as you will get to see in Karim City College. Karim City College is a very developed college. And the maximum number of students in Jamshedpur are in Kareem city college. In others colleges for example ( ABM, co- operative), has not that much disciplined students, there is ragging etc. and teaching is also not done properly as compare to karim city. And I filled the online form for admission to KCC website and the rest of the process took place at the college. And keep in mind that you should have provisional certificate of 12th pass for admission.

- Campus is good no misbehaving with proper knowledgeable professor and different study facilities
- It has its own library where students can rent books for a period of time
Dislikes
- Racism in hindu muslim the college allows muslim to be in burkha but no hindu guy is allowed with saffron gamcha
- Well it doesn't have proper washrooms on it

The cut off was 50 percent in political science as its an arts background online application forms were filled Reservation benefits were availabe but not much then as expected a minimum of five hundred to six hundred were benefitted in admission fees

- Amazing infrastructure. Teaching quality is good . teacher's are qualified and knowledgeable.
Admission:
Application form is of 1000 . Exams are of moderate level. Exams are conducted in morning . Improvement is neede in classes . Regular classes is needed for students therebis lot of gap in conducting classes.

There is no any cut off you can directly take addmission through chancellor portal you need minimum 45% in 12th irrespective of any branch. Exams are not conducted timely sometime it tooks a year to conduct the exams. If the addmission process will be simple it would be beneficial for students.

Admission process was very complex. You need to make an ID on kolhan university's chancellor portal and make payment there. You can find application form online on college website. If they would make easy the admission process it would be very good

Candidates should have 60 percentage in their 12th class.They should register application in chancellor portal.Under chancellor portal website they will apply for this college and pay the registration fee.Application date is likely open in may. Admission process is good.The frequency of exams is not so good as it comes under University.

Admission:
The admission process wasn't any hassel. Just follow the procedures and submit the appropriate documents and everything is done. You could find the admission form from the office located beside the staircase.The fees counter is just beside the office so that's convinient. Exams are held as usual, after 6 months at different centers and every semester they change their center . So be prepaired to travel a lot during those times.

Admission:
The admission process was offline. It was very hectic to get admission because all the teachers who were taking addmission were so slow and aggressive. It takes the whole day and may be two three days to complete the process

- I like this college because of discipline. Our principal is very strict for discipline. Also it is a green and clean college.
- All the faculty members are so supportive. If we are having some problem then we can easily discuss it will them. They help us to solve problem.
Dislikes
- They need to change the systems available in the comuter lab. Thier versions are too old. Till now, they are working on windows 7. During exam we have to face problems.
- The syllabus must be of advance level. Thier must be a personality development and english speaking class for every semesters students.
Admission:
The admission process is quite easy. The eligibility of this course is the student must have maths and science subjects in 12th class and maths marks must be more than 60. For the application form, we have to purchase it from college only. The application fees is Rs 700-800/-. In the form the application date will be mentioned. I don't think there is something like reservation benefits but if a student will be sincere then you can discuss with faculty member and may have chance for reservation. The exam level is easy- medium level. If a student will student will give 1.5-2 hours. Then it will be easy to score good marks in exam. There are two types of exam in college, internal and external. The duration of internal exam will be 1 hour and external exam duration will be 3 hours. According to me, all the processes are so well but I think application form should available on online mode. Apart from this, all the faculty members are so supportive.
