The Shridevi College of Education, Tumkur was established in 2007. It is affiliated by Tumkur University and is self-financed college. The college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) courses. The college has been recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Shridevi College of Education.
