The Shri V.P.R. College of Education is located at Theni was established in the year 2006 and it is affiliated by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. It is self-financed college. The college is providing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course and approved by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).

Our Institution is committed to produce eminent teachers with rich philosophical value to meet special requirement of Secondary and Higher Secondary students and to undertake extra mural studies, extension programme and field outreach activities to contribute the development of the society. The objective of college is to imbibe knowledge and develop an understanding of the various methods and approaches of organizing learning experiences of secondary school students.

The college has well classrooms and furnished. The library of our college is well equipped with books, doctrinaires, encyclopedia, journals and magazines. There is department library for B.Ed. students.
