R.K.R. College of Education, Coimbatore was established in 2005. It is the first College of Education in the Pollachi Educational District, Coimbatore Revenue District. The college is managed by the A Nagore RKR Educational Trust by the management of Mr. RK Ramasamy. It is a premier institute to promote of Higher education, located on Tiruppur road, Udumalpet. The aim of the college is to man-making and character-building among the teacher-trainees as advocated by Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi. The college offers one year full time Bachelor Degree in the Education.
