MIET selection criteria for Candidates in BTech program is to have completed their 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and one of these subjects, Chemistry, Biology and Computer science, attaining at least 50% marks in any recognized Board. Admissions are based on the performance of the candidates in JEE Main, followed by UPTAC. If shortlisted, the candidate has to attend the centralized counselling and complete the formalities for document verification to get the seats allotted.

B. Tech. (Lateral Entry): Candidate must have completed his/her 3 Years Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. with Mathematics from one of the recognised institutes with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions will be based on JEECUP Counselling or as per the university's guidelines, where seats are available.

My marks were not that good as I could have gotten better colleges and also the money I was being asked to pay in other colleges was much higher therefore I ended up here. See this college is worst if compared to other colleges around it but another hand it's really supportive regarding placement drive and internships. Anyone can take admission in this college and there's no eligibility criteria. You can either take direct admission or come here through aktu counselling. You Will get admission easily as the required marks are really low. It's as low as 50% in 12th or jee. The admission procedure is really easy and my overall experience was good.
