Jagiroad College offers several UG & PG courses in various disciplines such as Technology & Tourism Management. Applications are available at the college office following an official notification of admission. They are generally available till the end of the month of June.
The selection process is purely merit based, with previous academic performance determining the intake at the undergraduate level. However, screening tests may also be conducted at the discretion of the college. For the post,graduate diploma programme in Computer Science, an interview is conducted, and for the Master’s programme in Tourism Management, a written test as well as interview is conducted. Reservation in all cases is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India.

Selection Process
Selection to courses at Jagiroad College is done purely on merit basis. Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India.
- In general, selection to undergraduate courses is done purely on the basis of merit in terms of academic performance at the qualifying level. However, if there is high demand for a particular course, a screening test may be conducted by the University.
- For the post graduate diploma programme in computer Applications, a personal interview is conducted to test the aptitude of the candidate towards the course. The course is a one year programme.
- For the Master’s programme in Tourism Management, the College conducts a written test as well as interview, and the performance in this alongside the past academic performance is considered for the preparation of the final merit list.
Candidates who have been selected will be intimated about the date for admission. They must be present in person for processing the admission, and must produce original documents, alongside submitting self-attested copies, for verification. The required documents are generally:
- Marks sheets and certificates as proof of all previous educational qualifications (examinations).
- Transfer certificate / character certificate.
- Age certificate (proof of age).
- Migration certificate, if applicable.
- Caste certificate and income certificate, if applicable.
- Anti – ragging affidavit.
- If the candidate has taken a gap year after the previous educational qualification, a ‘Gap Certificate’ must be produced, issued by the Head of the institution previously attended.

- Purchase the form from the College Office, available at a fee of INR 250.
- Fill in the form completely; it must be completely in the candidates own handwriting.
- Submit the form in the College Office within the stipulated time period, along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents.
