Falakata College B.A. and B.A. (Hons.) Admission 2024
The college offers both B.A. General and Honours Degree Courses. The General course offered in following subjects: Elective Bengali, Elective English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Education, Economics, and Sanskrit. Whereas, honours courses offered are: Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Education, and Sanskrit.
The basic eligibility for taking admission in B.A. General is 10+2 pass with minimum 45% marks while for Honours course candidates will have to secure at least 55% marks in aggregate or 50% in aggregate with 60% marks in subject opted in Honours at 10+2 level.
Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of Merit in the qualifying examination.

Falakata College Application Process 2024
The College offers admission via online application. Candidate need to fill different application form for each course. Candidates who are willing to apply in Honours Course, click “APPLY IN HONOURS” button and to apply in General Course, click “APPLY IN GENERAL” button.

Register online on official website with name, mobile number and date of birth.
- User Id and password will be Auto-generated. Kindly note the Application Id No. and password which is applicant’s Date of Birth.
- Now click on Apply button to proceed for Application forms and login with your user ID and password.
- Before filling in Form, applicants have to scan their recent passport size photograph.
- They have to click “APPLY ONLINE” button to submit necessary details like name, date of birth, address, caste/category, contact no., subject marks etc. very carefully.
- For uploading photo click CHOOSE FILE button. Size of photograph should not more than 100 kb.
- After submitting the form, a confirmation page will be displayed. After confirmation of all data, the applicants have to select Payment Option.
- Candidate can either pay through online mode or by offline mode.
- Online Payment: If the applicant wish to pay Application Fees by using Credit Card/ Debit Card/IMPS/Net Banking, they have to click “ONLINE PAYMENT” button and then follow step-by-step process.
- Take print out of form & online Payment Slip and submit the Form and Xerox copy of this Payment Slip & other Original documents to the college office at the time of Verification.
- Payment through offline: If the applicant want to deposit registration fees through Bank Challan, they have to click “OFFLINE PAYMENT” button.
- They have to take printout of the form and three parts of Bank Challan, of which the Bank Part has to be submitted to any branch of State Bank of India with requisite fees.
- The College Part has to be submitted to the college office at the time of Verification and the Student Part is for record keeping.
- Applicants are advised to check the Payment Status of their forms after four hours from the time of payment of application fees.
- Login by using Application ID No. as User ID and Date of Birth as Password and click “Payment Status” button.
- After completion of payment, applicants are advised to follow the Merit List and Admission Notice that will be published on the official website.
- Application Fees: INR 100 (plus Bank Charge)

- On-line applicant’s registration receipt.
- Bank Challan (College Copy)
- Attested copy of Admit Card of Madhyamik / Equivalent Examination.
- Both side attested copy of Mark sheet of H.S. / Equivalent Examination.
- Migration certificate in original for students coming from outside the jurisdiction of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (W.B.C.H.S.E.)
- School leaving certificate in Original.
- Attested copy of SC / ST / OBC / Disable certificate from S.D.O.
- Two copies of 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm (recent & unsigned) Photographs
