Christ DEd Institute was established in 2004. The college is affiliated to NCTE and Govt. of Karnataka and offers D. Ed Course in Kannada Medium. The college is located in an area of 4691 Sq. Mts. and has infrastructure in place to offer Quality Education. Adequate infrastructure is in place and the management is keen on upgrading the same to keep in tune with the requirements. The college library has over 2000 books on different aspects of education.
The aim of the college is to develop the competencies of content mastery, curriculum transactions, communication skills, learner evaluation and integration of these specific components & to develop the competencies and abilities related to intellectual excellence, emotional maturity, positive values and attitudes and human dealings.
