IPS Academy Indore Latest Updates and News
29 Aug, 2025 MP B.Tech Counselling 2025 schedule is out for Institutional Preference Seats. Candidates can register @dte.mponline.gov.in from Sept 1 to 15, 2025. The counselling will be held on Sept 9, 2025, and if seats remain vacant, additional counselling will be conducted on Sept 15, 2025. Check schedule.
IPS Academy offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs, which lead to two primary degrees: B.Tech and B.Sc. The institute offers a B.Tech program in thirteen specialisations.
Admission to the B.Tech program is through the JEE Mains, followed by counselling. For 2024, the JEE Advanced overall cutoff rank for the general category ranged from 1407618 to 1400161. Besides the B.Tech, IPS Academy offers a B.Sc program in 8 specialisations. Admission to the B.Sc program is through merit-based.

The institute offers a four-year B.Tech degree program in thirteen specialisations. For admission into B.Tech program, candidates must have a valid score in JEE Mains, However, the final seat allotment is done by the Counselling. The below table shows the branch-wise total seat intake.

- Passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% from any recognised board

IPS Academy Selection Process
For admission to IPS Academy, the 12th exam results and the JEE Mains entrance exam score will be considered. A merit list will be prepared category-wise, listing the Rank of the candidates.
To participate in the JEE Mains admission process, candidates must register for counselling online at the official JoSAA website. Filling and locking of college and course choices are mandatory and must be done by the candidate only. Branch choices should be filled in decreasing order of preference. Based on the cut-off set by IPS Academy, seats will be allocated in each round of counselling.
