Xiss my POV

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th trimester Visiting companies include ICICI Prudential,Tata AIG,Tata Steel Downstream, Whirlpool,among others.So far,almost 50% students have been placed. There are so many companies came, all students tried well I am luckily not participating I will take part in next year. The Percentage of students getting placement is 85 plus, but my percentage is 82, I will work hard on the next sitting.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th trimester students are eligible for placements. There are a lot of companies that visited but it is not so dynamic. Personally, I don't feel the campus placements are so good. And I would suggest switching for better options for pursuing PGDM.

My Life at XISS, Ranchi

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is good. They inform before the company visits our campus. To take part in placement drive, we are asked to make aur resume. We will take part in placement drive next year. However, seeing my seniors I got idea as they had gone through GD and PI rounds. On getting shortlisted, they were called for final interview round to the company's headquarters. Furthermore, the key recruiters of our college are Adani Group, Azim Premji Foundation, CARE India, Axis Bank, Cognizant, Fincare and many others. The highest CTC reached till now is 14 LPA and the average CTC went 5LPA.

It offers a portfolio of research, academic, outreach programs, and social involvement. XISS has been ranked 76th by NIRF amongst 100 institutes in India 2020 and 85th out of 284 in India 2019 by India Today.

The admissions at XISS are based on a valid score in CAT/XAT/CMAT entrance exam.In addition to CAT, the university also accepts XAT and CMAT exam scores. CAT entrance exam scores.

Infrastructure:

The institute offers a broad range of facilities to the students.

  • A well-stocked library with more than 45000 volumes of books is available on campus. Moreover, the library also has Encyclopedias, Journals, Magazines, and Almanacs. It is also equipped with e-library facilities.

  • An Auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 is also available.

  • State-of-the-art classrooms and conference rooms, sports ground, fitness center, guest house, cafeteria, Computer/IT facility, hostels with 24x7 security, Wi-fi, medical facility with qualified doctors, laboratories are some of the facilities offered.

  • At XISS, the campus placement takes place in two phases viz from October to December and from January to March.

  • The Placement Cell helps connect the Organisations with the talent at the Institute.

  • For the final year students, Pre-Placement Talks are conducted before the commencement of placement sessions every year.

  • The institute also has a “Campus on Wheel” facility for the companies/organizations that are not able to visit the campus for the recruitment process.

  • More than 83 companies participated in the campus drive among which 48 recruiters were new.

  • Overall 285 offers were made with the highest salary of INR 14.50 LPA and an average salary of INR 5.31 LPA.

  • Some of the top recruiters visiting the campus are Adani Group, Allergan India, Asian Paints Ltd., Cholamandalam Finance, Cognizant, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., L&T Finance, and many more.
