02 Sep, 2025 XAT 2026 registration has started for MBA/PGDM admission. Aspirants can apply online till December 5, 2025, @xatonline.in. XAT 2026 will be held on January 4, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM. For more details, Check Here.
XISS Ranchi, offers admission to various PG and Fellow programs. The application form of the institute can be filled out in online mode from their website.PGDM is the flagship program offered at XISS Ranchi. For admission to the PGDM program, candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks, and also need to appear for XAT/ CAT/ CMAT, followed by a Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
The registration for the CAT commenced from August 01, 2025 to Sep 13, 2025, and the CAT exam date is Nov 30, 2025. The application fee for the CAT exam is INR 2600. After the CAT Exam, Students need to register separately on the XISS Ranchi official website.
XISS Ranchi also offers a Fellowship program. For admission to the fellowship program, candidates need to appear for CAT/ GATE/ GRE/ GMAT/ UGC-NET/ JRF / CSIR or XET (XISS Ranchi Entrance Test). Candidates must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) shall be considered for admission to Fellow Programme.The application fee for the XET is around INR 2200+ GST 18%.

XISS Ranchi PGDM Admission 2026
XISS Ranchi offers PGDM program in 4 specializations, such as Marketing, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Rural Management.
For admission to the PGDM program, candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks, and also need to appear for XAT/ CAT/ CMAT, followed by a Group Discussion & Personal Interview.Students can find more details about the course in the table below-

- 50% of the seats will be filled up by applicants applying with CAT and or XAT scores and the other 50% will be filled up with candidates applying through CMAT scores.
- Please note that 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Christian Minorities, ST, SC and other minorities and as such while filling up the form please ensure that you indicate your category accordingly.
XISS Ranchi PGDM Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
- Candidates who have appeared for the final semester of their graduation degree examination for the academic year 2024–25 and are waiting for their results are also eligible to participate in the admission process, provided they have no backlogs. If selected, such candidates must successfully complete their graduation and submit their pass certificate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
After the GDPI round, admission offers are made to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which include:
- Past academic record (20% weightage)
- Performance in entrance tests (40% weightage)
- Performance in Group Discussion (10% weightage)
- Performance in Personal Interview (25% weightage)
- Extracurricular and Diversity (5% weightage)
