XISS Ranchi offers admission to its various programs based on scores in national level entrance examinations. Important dates regarding these examinations and counsellings are given below-

XISS Ranchi PGDM Admission 2026

XISS Ranchi offers PGDM program in 4 specializations, such as Marketing, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Rural Management.
For admission to the PGDM program, candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks, and also need to appear for XAT/ CAT/ CMAT, followed by a Group Discussion & Personal Interview.Students can find more details about the course in the table below-

• Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
• Candidates who have appeared for the final semester of their graduation degree examination for the academic year, and are waiting for their results are also eligible to participate in the admission process, provided they have no backlogs. If selected, such candidates must successfully complete their graduation and submit their pass certificate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Entrance Exams Scores Accepted for current year’s admission are CAT 2025, XAT 2026, and CMAT-2026 scores are considered for the selection process.
• However, details related to CAT/XAT/CMAT if not available at the time of filling up the form, may be updated by 1st week of January 2026.
• 50% of the seats will be filled up by applicants applying with CAT and or XAT scores and the other 50% will be filled up with candidates applying through CMAT scores.
• Please note that 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Christian Minorities, ST, SC and other minorities and as such while filling up the form please ensure that you indicate your category accordingly.

XISS Ranchi PGDM Admission Parameters 2026

XISS Ranchi PGDM enrolls candidates based on their National-Level Entrance scores, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview, besides other factors. The weightage assigned to various selection parameters has been tabulated below. 

XISS Ranchi Fellowship Admission 2026

For admission to the fellowship program, candidates must have a Master's Degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).

Students need to appear for CAT/ GATE/ GRE/ GMAT/ UGC-NET/ JRF / CSIR or XET (XISS Ranchi Entrance Test). The application fee for the XET is around INR 2200 + 18% GST. Students can find more details about the course in the table below-

XISS Ranchi PG Certification Admission 2026

XISS Ranchi offers Post Graduate Certificate in Management Geospatial Technology program. For admission to this program, candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks. Students are selected based on XAT/ CAT/ CMAT scores.The registration for the CMAT commenced from November 14, 2025 to December 13, 2025, (Tentative) and the CMAT exam date is January 25, 2026 (Tentative). The application fee for the CMAT exam is around INR 2,500.Students can find more details about the course in the table below-

XISS Ranchi Certification Admission 2026

XISS Ranchi offers Certificate Program in Business Analytics. For admission to the Certificate Program in Business Analytics, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50%. Students are selected based on their merit. The seat intake for the Certificate Program in Business Analytics is 75.Students need to register on their XISS Ranchi official website.
