The following specializations are offered in IT Business Management include Information Security Management(ISM), Digital Transformation (DT), Systems (SYS) and Data Science (DS).
SCIT MBA Eligibility Criteria
MBA IT Business Management :
Candidates following any of the given eligibility criteria are eligible for admission to MBA IT Business Management:
- Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
- Candidates appearing for Final Year Bachelor’s Degree Examinations may apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
- All candidates applying against reservation seats must provide documentary proof as per the requirements of Symbiosis International University (SIU).
MBA Data Science and Data Analytics :
For admission to MBA in Data Science and Data Analytics candidates are required to fulfill any of the given eligibility criteria:
- Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
- Should have Mathematics Subject compulsory in 12th Standard.
SCIT MBA Selection Criteria
Appearing for SNAP test and registering for SCIT is a mandatory Shortlisting criterion for Group Exercise and Personal Interaction is based only on SNAP Score.
SCIT Admission Process 2025
SCIT Admission 2025 is open. Admissions at SCIT Pune will be based on on SNAP Test followed by a Group Exercise and a Personal Interview. The admission stages involved for the MBA admission is mentioned below:

| Shortlisting of Candidates | The candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process, based on their SNAP scores. The list will be available on the institute website and the candidates will have to book their slot for the selection process. |
| GE-PI | The shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process round, that will include Group Exercise and a Personal Interview Round. |
| Final Merit List | The final selection will be based on the overall performance of the candidates in the SNAP score, Group Exercise, and a Personal Interview. |

ONLINE SNAP test fee is INR 2250 (+ applicable Payment gateway charges, GST and any other taxes). This is not refundable. While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SCIT in the same application form. A registration fee of INR 1000 (+ applicable Payment Gateway Charges, GST and any other taxes) per program is to be paid to SCIT for each program that the aspirant wishes to apply.
While registering for SNAP, candidate must apply online and pay online for SICT admission in the same application form. Candidates who have cleared SNAP will be shortlisted for further admission process and result will be announced on SCIT website. Such candidates should book their slots for GE-PI by filling application form available on the site.

SCIT Admission FAQs
Ques. Are there any reserved seats for students in SCIT Pune?
Ans. SCIT Pune offers reservations as per the rules and regulations of government of India. For candidates belonging to SC category, the institute reserves 15% of the total seats. For ST candidates 7.5% seats are reserved.
For candidates belonging to Differently Abled category 3% seats are reserved. Further, for Children / Wards of Defense Personnel 5% sears are reserved. The institution also offers reservation to children of migrants from Jammu and Kashmir valley. Out of the total seats 15% seats are reserved for International Students.
For admission to MBA ITBM program Out of 180 seats for MBA (ITBM), 125 seats are reserved for the general category.
