No, It is not compulsory to take admission to SCIT Pune hostel. You can apply for private PG or rental rooms as well which are available nearby the college.
The hostel fees at SCIT Pune is INR 76.6k. However, it is not mandatory for students to avail hostel, if you are interested you can apply for chamber outside the campus. But, you need to go through various procedure and inform the academic section accordingly.
