As per the latest placement record released by the institute, the Highest package stood at INR 10 LPA and the average package ranged from INR 5 LPA to INR 6 LPA. As per NIRF 2025 data available the median package for the UG students is INR 10.2 LPA & for the PG students the median package stood at INR 5 LPA.In the last 3 years, many students from the UG course at SSCBS have graduated and either got placed or went for higher studies. Ques. Do startups also participate in SSCBS placements?

Ans. International internships and placement opportunities exist at SSCBS, although not as highly formalised or extensive as domestic opportunities. Of particular interest is the college's 180 Degrees Consulting chapter, which participates in global consulting projects using a broad network of 33 nations to deliver real-world global experience. In addition, even while placing and conducting internships, companies like Shannonside Capital, a British hedge fund, have provided global internships and even pre-placement offers to students at SSCBS on the basis of their performance. While overall responses continue to be India-centric, top-scoring students, particularly in the finance, consulting, and analytics verticals, have created global opportunities, supplementing SSCBS's robust domestic placement infrastructure with international exposure.

Ques. What kind of roles are offered during placements?

Ans. At SSCBS, the students are provided with a wide range of jobs in many different industries. Typical jobs are business analyst, financial analyst, investment banking analyst, management consultant, product manager, marketing associate, and data analyst. In the technology sector, software developer, UI/UX designer, and data engineer jobs are also provided to the students, especially from the B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science degree. Students are offered core and cross-functional positions from consulting firms, finance firms, FMCG firms, ed-tech companies, startups, and analytical firms so that they have diverse career options in line with their interests and skill sets.

Ques. Do startups also participate in SSCBS placements?

Ans. Startups do come for SSCBS placements and internship drives, where they provide students with great opportunities. According to the Placement reports for 2023–24, more than 75 companies (MNCs as well as startups) participated in drives that resulted in more than 250 offers, with some startups such as Blinkit being present on campus as well. The Career Development Centre (CDC) facilitates these connections by hosting company sessions and a "Project Prep for Success" mentoring program, which allows students to gain both full-time and internship positions in entrepreneurial and agile settings.

Placements are not liike whoever is in the college can get the placements, it requires very hard to get in those companies although all recruiters that came in our campus are top-notch, that's why they also focus to take top cream layer of students and package is quiet decent and ROI too, that the fees we've paid and if we got that package that average is around 8-10LPA, it's quiet good!

More than 50 companies including goldman sachs ,jp morgan, accenture and many more visits the college and 250 + offers are made..highest package is arounv 20 lpa for bsc cs and average is 9 lpa.my plans after getting is do master in computer science

Sscbs has their own placement cell known as the CDC career development centre. The CDC provides internship opportunities for second year students and placement opportunities for third year students . The companies that usually visit assess CBS includes EY , Bainn capability network , Mckinsey and company , BCG , Niti Aayog , Accenture and many more big firms . The highest package of the SSCBS has gone up to 44 lakhs for a graduate , and the average annual package is 10 lakh . Almost 80% of students get placed of those who are registered for the placements.

Placement Experience:

I think for placement one must be in 3 year but yeah 2 nd year students do alot of internships and live projects as well and in placement some of the companies that visit and hire students are EY, Accenture,Deloitte, Goldman Sachs,Bain and company and D E shaw And approximately 90 percent of the students get placed with a average package of 10lpa+ and that too of top 100 students is 17lpa+ And as far as it is concerned about me I am thinking for getting work experience for 1-2 year then I will pursue my MBA from any good college
