Ans. SSCBS also follows the reservation policy ordained by the University of Delhi to provide equal education. According to the guidelines provided by Delhi University, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Cast (SC) candidates, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST), 27% for Other Backwards Classes (OBC–Non Creamy Layer), and 10% for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Also, there are supernumerary reservations like 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD), 5% for Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel (CW), and Kashmiri migrants' quota, students belonging to the Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) categories, and wards of DU employees. All reserved category applicants have to produce authentic and current certificates issued by the proper authorities while taking admission.

SSCBS does not offer management quota; admissions to its BMS, BBA‑FIA, and B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science courses are purely merit-based under CUET (Joint CUET‑UG) and Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System, and there are no other or paid means of entry. Any "direct admission" or management quota seat claims are unofficial and unreliable. If you notice mentions of such options, they are likely to be misleading. All deserving candidates have to apply through CUET and undergo DU counselling to get a seat at SSCBS.

Ans. SSCBS does not have a foreign language as a part of its regular BMS, BBA‑FIA, or B.Sc. courses. As per the institution's 2022–23 academic profile, even though there is a strong emphasis on co‑curricular activities and international tie‑ups in the college, foreign language electives are not available to BBA students. Students looking to study languages like French, German, or Spanish tend to look into other certificate courses off campus, for example, those provided by language schools or other Delhi University colleges that offer special language courses.
