Breif and Crisp:
Why I opted for History was because of two reasons: a, I absolutely love it and I want to do something for this subject.
b, To understand the present, one has to understand the past, in order to figure out the future.
Faculty of my college is the second best in the North India. It is old, experienced and open to new ideas. It is not communist but is neither capitalist. So, staying in the grey was the way of life in Hansraj History Department for me.
My college has various opportunities for everyone. It has had a distinguished alumni and various avenues for my interests like debating and football.

Placement Experience:
The placement cell works really hard to get the best possible jobs for the eligible students.
When they claim This they don't bluff. This is really a blessing to have this facility.

It's in the main campus and has all the benefits of being a campus college. Moreover Hansraj College is a renowned college. I was told that the faculty is good so I chose it over the other colleges. Moreover being a delhiite I didn't want to go out for my graduation. It costs a lot. So this was the best option that I had.

Hansraj College: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of Hansraj College University of Delhi?
Shaan KapoorB.A Economics (H) from Hansraj College,Delhi University
One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.
Here are some of the best things about the institute.
- This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
- The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
- It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
- Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
- Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
- There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
- The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
- North Campus has the best college location.
You will not regret choosing the institute.
