Punjab Institute of Management and Technology Fatehgarh Sahib Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Punjab Institute of Management and Technology (PIMT) offers a number of programmes at UG level such as Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and B.Sc in Hons.

Duration of all of the UG courses is three years except B.Sc.(H),  which takes a duration of four years to fulfil the duration period.

The institute makes the selection process of UG programme based on the merit of the candidates. The candidates will be judged according their secured marks in 10+2 level exam.

At the PG level the institute offers various courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA), MCA-LEET and M.Com (P) for their respective candidates.

All of the courses hold a duration of two years apart from MCA. The MCA is a course of three years. Candidates want to take admission for any of the PG courses have to have a valid Bachelor’s degree achieved from a well recognised university as well as it should be UGC approved.

Admission in MBA programme goes on through an entrance test known as MAT  /  CMAT. The institute will make the selection according the performance done by candidates in MAT / CMAT. Admission in rest of the PG courses is done based on the merit.

Key Note:

Candidates belonging to the SC / ST category are given a relaxation of 5% marks while meeting the the eligibility criteria of M.Com(P) programme following the rules of the institute.
