Jaipur Engineering College Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Jaipur Engineering College offers B.Tech program with 8 specializations and total intake of 480. Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics (as compulsory subjects) and anyone out of these optional subjects viz. Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course.

Admission to the program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in JEE Main/REAP and in the qualifying examination. 336 seats is filled through REAP merit, 69 through JEE Main, and the remaining 75 under Management Quota are filled directly on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.

Jaipur Engineering College B.Tech Selection Criteria

• Selection criteria for B.Tech is purely based on the norms of AICTE norms.
• The Institute recognizes scores of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) and Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). 
• The prerequisite is minimum 60% marks as aggregate in class XII in Physics, Mathematics (compulsory) and Chemistry/Computer science/Bio-tech/Biology from any recognized Board or equivalent.

JEC offers an M.Tech program with 4 specializations and 18 seats in each specialization concluding to 72 seats in the entire course. Students who hold BE, B.Tech Degree in relevant specialization with minimum 55% marks are considered eligible to get admission in the M.Tech program. Admission to the program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the Degree course and preference is given to the students with valid GATE score.

Candidates who hold BE or B.Tech Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University are considered eligible for admission to the M.Tech program.
