EXCELLENT COLLEGE FOR EXPOSURE

Likes

The classroom always happens to be interactive
Canteen has greater food options available
Everyone was always ready to help in any circumstances

Dislikes

The college campus was too small and no parking available
The security was not so tight anyone can enter the college easily
No fun activies or outings were there in my time

Admission:

I gave the ggsipu enterance exam and after that I entered here in this college I got 350 rank and the admission process was vey smooth there we no huddles regarding that. For eligiblity, you have to give GGSIPU ENTERANCE EXAM and according to your you will be eligible for the same college.

Ive visited other GGSIPU colleges, and JIMS has one of the best faculties. They are good teachers and there subject matter knowledge is also extensive
Enviroment is awsome. Student crowd is good except for some exceptions. Its a very positive environment to complete your bachelors in

Dislikes

College campus is very small. Literally no grounds or feilds or anything, just a snigle building and thats it

Admission:

I have been to 2 colleges before JIMS Kalkaji, on of them was a private college and the other was also an IPU college, but both were lower in rank, compared to JIMS. JIMS Kalkaji is considered one of the best colleges for B.COMM Honours in IPU as it is a teir 2 college

A great opportunity

Likes

Faculty is top Notch. Easy going and highly approachable teachers.
The crowd is nice, no uncivilised actions.
Safety and respect in the college is utmost.

Dislikes

The washrooms are a bit problematic and small.
The canteen does have a lot of options but not healthy.

Admission:

I personally chose it because of the faculty feedback and it has proven to be right. The exam patterns and timings are competitive. The process was easy and smooth. The coordinators made sure it was hassle free.

Faculty is well educated the way they explain things is simple and practical knowledge is more that bookish knowledge
Sports facilities - Common Room for both boys and girls where they have the facility of gym, chessboard, table tennis, ludo, caraam board etc.
Placements cell - 100% students are placed

Dislikes

Campus is very small due to which there is less space for activities

Admission:

Any student who is currently in the last year of graduation or have completed his graduation can apply for the course. They just need to fill an application form and pay a nominal form fees. A group discussion and personal interview takes place for the selection.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Likes

I liked the faculties around here and the nature of the same , they are very cooperative and helpful along the course and post.
I liked the facilities like classrooms , labs , wifi , canteen area and nescafe
Another thing would be the active societies of this college which hell your character to grow quicker .

Dislikes

Things i disliked , first would be the campus size
Along with campus size , some faculties have their personal grudges with other faculties.

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal. The frequency timing of exams is after 1.5 months ( both mid-term and end-term). The areas of improvement would be a little bit more transparency among the students.

JIMS boasts of experienced faculty with industry expertise they employ various teaching method like lectures, case study, presentations and group discussion to enhance learning.
JIMS kalkaji is a reputed management institute with over 25 years of experience.
JIMS reportedly have a strong placement record, with student securing jobs in reputed companies they offer placement assistant like resume building, mock interviews, and career counseling.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of JIMS Kalkaji is not that good. they have to improve it.
They are only focused on specialization in field like marketing, HR and finance, they should also focus on other fields.

Admission:

The admission process was very smooth they offer mentor to guide applicant and require a minimum score of 50% in CAT, MAT, GMAT and ATMA. application can be directly submited through there website, the entire process is online.They also provide scholarship.

An eye opener view

Long hours of classes makes students tired and unproductive
The size of the campus is too small to be accomodated
Less fest and industrial visit takes place

Admission:

For studying in JIMS Kalkaji you can get the form online through their official portal and eligibility is that you have to be graduate. Appication fees is 1000Rs. And application dates are felxible.Regarding reservations the college accept students who gave any competitive exam for PGDM course and last dates are as per the college site which mainly is in end of July. The difficulty level of exam is average. And personally talking about my admission ,it was quite smooth and the faculty was also very knowledgeable and friendly. And I am very grateful to study in this college as each day I am learning a lot and growing.

JIMS is best for you if you cant get more than 95% in CAT

Likes

Internships are good, and college equally focuses on cultural activities and annual fests.
Placements opportunities are decent and your ROI will be covered if you are a average student.
Faculties have different teaching pedagogies , BA is taught through excel and spss, Eco is taught through newspapers which gives us practical experience of how it works.

Dislikes

All saturday's are working and the schedule is very tight.
Classes starts from 9:10am ends at 5:40pm which becomes a little hectic and dosent allow time for other activities.
Students who are introvert can find it difficult to fit in and make friends.

I went through a online Admission Process which included GD & PI. GD and PI process was very smooth and hardly took less than 2 hours. The admission into the college was subjected to requirement of Entrace Test with a minimum marks of 60 Percentile. There were no aspects of the process which i disliked, even after the GDPI results when I went for campus visit the faculties were very helping and welcoming.
