Good opportunity in JIMS

Likes

Facilities - Good facilities are provided- Wifi for students, 2 floor library, Clean washrooms with basic amenities, 3 canteens, 1 indoor table tennis and carroms room, 1 well maintained small park , centralized AC , smartboards in every classrooms
Faculty - Very supportive, resourceful, knowledgeable, approachable faculties are there. For any issues you can directly approach them and they listen to each feedback very well.
Internship and Placement opportunity - There is CRMC cell which is coordinated by faculty and they provide very good paid internships and placement opportunities, they are also very supportive.

Dislikes

Infrastructure - Campus is very small compared to other Jim's colleges but facilities are all there.
Fees getting due- The students whose fees gets delayed, there trimester results gets withheld. But after paying the fees the results are shown.
Attendance - 75% is mandatory and if not adhered then you can be debarred and have to take up supplementary exams for the subject you are debarred from. So attendance is very strict

Admission:

I applied for Rajagiri in Kerala and got into it, then was waiting for MHCET but the results kept on getting delayed, then I also got into JIMS, BIMTECH as well but due to budgetary issues and placements the best option was JIMS. I wanted to get into symbiosis but my Snap score wasn't that great. NMAT also my marks were good but not that good for taking admissions in top 3 colleges of narsee munji. The admission process of JIMS is very simple, you just have to apply through their website and pay the application fees, then you will get the mail for documents such as 10th, 12th marksheet, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/SNAP (whichever is applicable), graduation certificate/degree, work experience certificate(in case), copy of application form and admit card for Campus tour, GD, PI process which happens on 1 day. For those living in Delhi and NCR can go and visit the campus for these process , and for those outside of DELHI NCR can give the process online. Within 2-3 days you will get the mail for the results. Then after few weeks you will have to pay 1st installment fees to secure you seat in that course.

Likes

Faculty is good and some teachers are nice
No ragging is in the college. But yes there some seniors who behave like they are gansters

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good and the campus is not big at all

Admission:

I did not apply to any other college. The admission provess is simple you just have to go on their website and give their exam or just give the CURT exam and apply and submit their application and give the interview

It's a great job to give guidance to students

I like the whole college , faculty is also very supportive and they the good average rate of placement which is around 700000 pa . Campus is small in comparison to other campuses. College is very supportive and they have many fests also.
Last year bpraak has arrived for the festival, college is doing best of there, they have very good canteen and they have Nescafe also
Their were so many cultural activities which helps in developing the personality of an individual.

Dislikes

Campus is small in comparison to other campuses
Parking facility is not good but they have guards to take care of vehicles.
College is very good overall in all the terms either it's placement or faculty members.

Admission:

I applied for many colleges but I wanted to be in jims rohini sector 5 because of there good market value or I can say goodwill. I gave interview to take admission in the college. College has very good criteria for taking admission.

My experience at jims rohini

Likes

Nice infrastructure as I have seen many colleges who charge so much fees but don't have the good infrastructure and campus is very clean
The campus have 3 canteen area so have so many different options to eat and try something new things
Every wing has a lift and students can use it to go to there respective classes

Dislikes

The campus is not so big. And parking issue rises as you have to park your car outside the college
No parking area was provided so you have to park outside the campus

Admission:

The admission process of my college is very easy, if you stuck somewhere the faculty will guide you and I choose this college because it is NAAC A++ college and it very well known college for my course.

Good college providing great opportunities, with great faculties.

Likes

College has good infrastructure, every important facilities is available.
All classrooms are smart classes with air conditioning in every room.
Labs are equipped with latest desktop systems .

Dislikes

Short area of campus making it very small
Although we have some sport facilities but due to small space of campus it is not up to mark

I have applied for usit which is a main campus of a ip University but I got a 4086 rank in nimcet exam so I got admission to jagan institute of management studies according to my rank that I got in my nimcet exam.

Reality of jims rohini

Faculty of the college is great one of the best faculties ever faced
Academics of the college is one of the best among other ip universities it is also ranked #75 on nirf

Dislikes

The campus is very small not much for physical activities or sports

Admission:

The academic programs jims rohini offer are top notch and considering the location where the college is is so great as it is from walking distance from the metro station which makes everyday student expense so minimum I also applied for Christ University Bangalore also got accepted there but didn't went there thinking about the roi that I'd get

Likes

The professors teaching style and experience, infrastructure, multiple cafeterias, good location (metro connectivity)
Multiple fests and things which one helps enhance their soft and hard skills.

Dislikes

Space (carpet area isa little low), Saturday classes :_)
Lifts are not functioning at fullest, like 3/1 is working
No ground to play only a cricket net and small area to play volleyball.

Admission:

I got admission to 2 colleges IITM Janakpuri and Jims Rohini, and I opted for Jims because of the ranking + placement records, and more profound environment like it's known for PGDM so that alumnus is also very good. Which we can reach out to in future for professional guidance. I didn't get rejected as I only applied for 3-5 but 3 in which I didn't get admit is because their cutoff of IPUCET is 600-700 and my score is 1005. Admission Prcoess: IPUCET entrance exam -> Counselling -> select college in round 1 or move to round 2 if dont like then pay fees + then admission community will reach out and conduct other documentation formalities -> Joining

JIMS - An honest glimpse

Likes

The experience is going good in college. The environment is positive, the other batchmates are quite cooperative. I never felt like an outsider. Friends used to help me in completing assignments quite often.
Teachers were friendly. One teacher, her name is Pooja, she was my class coordinator in first year, she was always there to help anyone, very kind one.
The best thing is college canteen, the variety of foods are quite large, it's tasty as of good quality. Also the infrastructure was well built with strong security.

Dislikes

I feel like practical labs need improvement, there is no fixed schedule, sometimes class got cancelled at the end time. It gets frustrated sometimes.
Also security guards are sometimes irritating, whenever you forgot I'd card they create tension there, that is pretty annoying.

Admission:

I applied in Delhi University and desu also because it has higher rankings and considered to be better universities. yes I got rejected from du because of the low percentage in 12th. Admission process was quite easy as they offers you online portal where you can update fees which saves time of the parents.

The faculty is experienced and their teaching methods are good.
Since the overall number of students in the college are less,there are more opportunities in terms of co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
The cultural society of the college hosts new events almost every month.

Dislikes

The campus size is too small as compared to other private and semi private colleges.
There are no trips held outside the city.
The college hostel is too overpriced (Rs 165000 per year).

Admission:

The fee of this college is one of the major reasons i picked this college.It is way more affordable as compared to other private colleges and universities which offer the same course and have fee such that there is almost no ROI.The most preferred way for admission into Jims Rohini and GGSIPU is through IPU-CET examination.The college also accepts admissions through CUET score.Any rank under 3500 in IPU-CET would be safe for Delhi candidates

I like the environment, the staff and the students, nature Also, the placement is quite good as compared to the colleges

Dislikes

As such there is no disliking, but the college campus is quite small, which is the disadvantage only. Otherwise it is good to provide good quality, education, and placement.

Admission:

I applied through CAT examination and then I had the G DPI round where I was given a topic, and I had to speak for around one minute. Then I had a personal interview round where there were faculties who took my interview, and on the basis of that I was given a admission. I said, I have not received any such reservation The admission process was quite good and simple, which I think is very important

What is the PGDM CAT Cutoff of JIMS Rohini?

As per the previous year's cutoff analysis, the CAT cutoff will be 75 percentile for PGDM in the general category. The shortlisted candidates are called to take part in the GD and PI rounds. The final selection is based on the entrance test score, past academic performance, Personal Interview, and Group Discussion score. The selected candidates are informed through an email.
