Dewan Institute of Management Studies was established in 1996 and is located in Meerut, UP. It is run by the Dewan V.S Group of Institutions. The institute is considered as the best Management college of the city and is approved by AICTE.
DIMS Meerut is famous for its MBA course which is affiliated to AKTU. The minimum eligibility is a Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks. Those who are seeking admission are admitted based on their score in UPSEE exam followed by the state level counselling.
The institute also offers MCA at PG level. The institute has witnessed maximum placements in this course till date. Like MBA, MCA is also affiliated to AKTU.

Eligibility
The eligibility prescribed for UG courses is mentioned below:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/St candidates).
- Candidates who have appeared for board exams or are waiting for their results can also apply.
NOTE - For BCA, applicants must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2. Moreover, those who have completed 3 years of Diploma can also apply.
Selection Criteria
Securing admission in BBA or BCA courses solely depends upon merit obtained by candidates in the qualifying exam.

- Registration: Candidates can register by applying online and submitting the counselling fee of INR 20,000 for general category candidates and INR 12000 (adjustable against tuition fee) through online payment gateway.
- Document Verification: Candidates need to get their documents verified through online mode based on their UPSEE ranks.
- Choice Filling & Seat Confirmation: Candidates seeking admission in DIMS must fill the correct institute code during choice filling procedure. Once the seat allotment result is declared, a candidate needs to lock his or her seat at the college.
- Reporting at the institute: Based on provisional allotment letter, candidates are supposed to report to the institute in order to confirm their admission.
