Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT). Raipur is a private engineering college established in the year 1986. It is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. BIT, Raipur offers undergraduate and postgraduate level courses focusing on the field of Engineering and Technology.

Admission to the B.E program is done through Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) or JEE Main examination while admission to the M.Tech program is done through GATE.
10% of the annual intake is reserved for candidates residing outside Chhattisgarh.
15% of the annual intake is earmarked as Management Quota seats.
75% of the annual intake is marked as State (Chhattisgarh) Quota seats for admission to the undergraduate (B.E) courses offered by the institute.
A relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility criteria will be given to the SC/ST and OBC candidates.

Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Raipur offers a 4-year B.E program in various specializations. In order to get admission, candidates will have to appear either in JEE Main or CGPEB. Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Raipur M.Tech Admission 2024

BIT, Raipur offers M.Tech program in various specializations at PG level with an annual intake of 18 seats in each discipline. The eligibility criteria for admission in the ME/ M.Tech program will be as per norms laid down by Directorate of Technical Education, Raipur.

However, the admission in M.E. / M. Tech. for the sponsored seats will be done at institute level as notified by DTE Raipur. Aspirants with valid GATE score are eligible for counselling. Sponsored candidates should have minimum two-year of teaching experience.

Bhilai Institute of Technology conducts offline mode of admission process to apply to its various courses. Candidates need to follow the subsequent steps to apply:

I did not qualified in JEE entrance exam then i gave CGPET exam so based on the counciling i just get this college. Admission process is so simple you just have to go in student admission council and then they will do further process.

As I was not totally aware about BIT Raipur till the time I got into the college people in cities do have a good image of BIT raipur as a best college through a decade because, BIT Durg is the parent institute of BIT Raipur so it do have a good image because of that and if you just want to study and explore yourself you can get admission in this college. Admission can be done Directly and also on the basis of JEE mains rank also there is a regional exam held for students in Chattisgarh that is Known as CGPET and it is conducted by DTE it is a body that regulates admission in the state and after exams and release of your rank, a DV is done and on the basis of your choice filling you can get colleges

Clearing PET that time and according to your marks/ rank, you get to enter here. But I took the EI branch which got shut after 2 batches as the scope of this branch is mainly outside Chhattisgarh and not here. Other branches are average.

Admission:

I got admission through Management Quota, but students can also apply through the CGDTE website. Students will get a call from the officials as soon as their application is passed (this applies only to people who filled the CGDTE form). Other students will have to be present on the counseling day with proper documents as asked by the officials.

A well brief about BITR

Admission:

The process was quite simple for me as compared to others. I was selected directly based on my JEE score. My interview was also simole and good, they checked my communication skills along with basic 12th standard knowledge. There was no donation fees sort of things.
