Basudev Institute of Management and Technology (BIMTECH), established in 2008, is a quality management institue located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Established under the aegis of Basudev Educational Trust, the institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

BIMTECH, Lucknow offers two courses in management namely, a two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and a two-year full time MBA program.

The 2-year MBA course has a total intake of about 120 students and is offered with various specializations like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, General Management, International Business and Information Technology. The 2-year PGDM course also has an intake of 120 students.

? Candidates applying for the courses (MBA & PGDM) should have a minimum of 3 years Bachelors’ degree in any discipline from any Indian or foreign university recognized by UGC and should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 50% (45% for reserved categories).

? For MBA, selection is done on the basis of merit in UPSEE MBA (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination), followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.

? Apart from UPSEE, performance in exams like CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT may also be considered.

? Candidates can apply for either the courses online or offline, after appearing for their respective qualifying examinations.

Basudev Institute of Management and Technology MBA & PGDM Admissions 2024

Candidates applying for the MBA and PGDM courses should have a minimum of 3 years Bachelors’ degree in any discipline from any Indian or foreign university recognized by UGC. They need to secure minimum aggregate marks of 50% (45% for reserved categories) in their qualifying degree.

Admission to the 2-year MBA course is done on the basis of merit in UPSEE MBA examination followed by a Group Discussion/Personal Interview round conducted on campus.

The UPSEE is a state level examination that is usually conducted in the month of May every year. As the MBA course of IAMR is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University, candidates need to attempt UPSEE. Besides UPSEE, scores in examinations like CAT, MAT and XMAT can also be considered.

UPSEE MBA is a state level examination for students who have passed graduation from UP colleges or whose parents are domiciles of Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates from foreign university/ outside UP can apply through valid CMAT/CAT/MAT scores.
The GD/PI round will be done on campus and dates will be intimidated to the shortlisted candidates by mail.

BIMTECH, Lucknow Application Process

Candidates can obtain the Prospectus and Application form from the campus or from the college website. The filled-in form along with Demand Draft and documents must then be submitted to the campus.

Candidates can obtain the Prospectus and application form by Cash payment of Rs. 100/- at the institute or Post (enclosing demand draft for Rs.150/- drawn in favour of Basudev Education Trust, payable at Lucknow.
After filling the application form, candidates need to it to the office of Secretary, either personally or by Registered Post/courier.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the GD/PI schedule by mail.
