Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management (BITM), Pune was established in the year 2002. It offers a two-year-long MBA program with different specializations. BITM is a part of the Sri Balaji Society.

• To be eligible for admission to the MBA program, the candidates must possess a UG degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Admission will be based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MAH-CET Entrance exam score, Group Discussion and Personal interview.

BITM Pune MBA Eligibility

To be eligible for admission the candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• For Telecom Specializations: Engineers with specialization in Electronics, Telecommunications/Computer Science, IT/Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical are eligible for admission to this course.
• A valid CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/MAH CET score.

BITM Pune MBA Selection Criteria

Selection will be done on the basis of following parameters:

1. Candidate’s performance in the written exam
2. Group Discussion
3. Essay Writing
4. Personal interview

Entrance Exam

• The Entrance scores will be equalized and validated to the CAT score value and that will only be counted for the purpose of merit list.
• The institute gives only 35% of the weightage to the entrance examination while preparing the merit list. 

Group Discussion

• Candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirements will be called for the Group Discussion.
• The GD will be conducted for a duration of 30-45 minutes.
• 40% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process.

Personal Interview and Essay Writing

• The essay will test the candidate’s written communication skills.
• The test will be conducted for a duration of half an hour. 

• The PI and Essay will comprise of a total of 25% weightage.

The following documents must be submitted at the time of interview:

• Class Xth and XIIth Mark sheets
• Graduation Certificate
• Work-Experience Certificate. (If applicable).
• Certificates related to Extra-Curricular Activities(If applicable).
• Copy of Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST candidates.

The institute will generate a merit list based on the overall performance. The final admission list will be declared on the web site and also communicated through email. 

Selected students will be required to remit the first installment of INR. 55,000/- within 10 days from the date of declaration of the admission list to confirm their admission.
