I got selected for Tata Motors. There was no stipend from the company as the location was in my hometown only. Mt's role was market research. I did a market analysis and research. 2 projects were given to me by my mentor and we have to do research on that.
Whirlpool, Amul, ITC, Amazon etc. Mostly Sales internship roles are offered and for hr its hr trainee etc. To generate leads, cold calling, data entry, learn more about sales, gain practical experience, etc.
Big insurance companies are getting interested in an internship. Amazon, Tata, Aditya Birla, are big players. Market research, market analysis, marketing and sales, are some of the job roles offered. Projects are regarding Market analysis and interpretation and research and direct sales.
The college has a certain policy. One student if got selected for an internship project with a company cannot sit for another company or cannot switch until and unless the concern is big. I have been selected with NielsenIQ, a market research company. The company offered a 3-month internship with a stipend of Rs. 10000 per month. Since I am pursuing HR, so I was assigned as a Talent acquisition intern. There was no such specific project given to me but I was closely working with the recruitment team and also helped in campus engagement.
Many of the internships offered were for a sales role. Companies like Whirlpool, OYO did visit the campus for offering internships as well as placements with a decent stipend.
Companies like Asian Paints and Emmami come for interns offering stipend around 10-15K for Marketing, HR, Finance, and Operations as well. The projects are basically marketing the company using various techniques and achieving targets.
From 3rd semester they allow to sit for campus.companies visited are tcs, Infosys,Bajaj,99acre, naukri.com, HCl, wipro. Highest package is 2100000 and lowest 350000.Almost more than 90percent get placed.
They helped in getting project for internships. Also they provide you earning in many projects so it's a paid internship they provide.
Placements offered are great as compared to other colleges within the same tier. One can land himself at greater positions if they grind harder for 2 years.
