Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies (BSIMS), Mumbai was established in 1998 and is located in Mumbai. The institute is run by Maratha Mandir’s Society.

Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies conducts postgraduate courses of MMS and doctoral program in Business Management.

Admission to the institute will be through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
To apply for the MMS/MBA degree program, candidates must be a graduate from a recognized college/university.
The selection of candidates for these courses is based on the performance in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT/Maharastra Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA/MMS CET or AMMI MMS CET)

The Institute of Management offers a PG program in Management Science and Ph.D. Program in Business Management at the doctoral evel. Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline or in the final year of graduation with 50% or more marks from a recognized college/university.

Admission to the MMS program is done as per the merit list is prepared on the basis of CMAT/CAT/JMET/MAT/GMAT/ATMA/XAT/Maharastra Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA/MMS CET or AMMI MMS CET). Performance in the Personal Interview, Work experience and Past academic records are also taken into consideration.

Key Points for PG Admission:

20% seats are reserved for Management quota and these admissions are given as per Government norms.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.
5% relaxation in the marks is given to students belonging to SC, ST/DT, NT, OBC, SBC and Person with Disability of Maharashtra State.
For MMS Course, 150 seats are available.

Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai Admission Process 2024

Admission is through CAP counselling conducted by the DTE Maharashtra based on the score obtained in CAT/MAT/GMAT/ATMA/XAT/Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET) for the 80% of the total seats. Remaining seats will be filled under management/NRI quota.

Admissions to all the courses are carried out strictly on the merit of entrance test basis through Centralized Counselling Procedure. However, candidates seeking admission must register themselves for the entrance exams through the respective official website.

CAP Counselling:

Visit the official website of DTE, Maharashtra.
Register as new user and login with email id and password.
Candidates will have to then confirm application form at the facilitation center.
Provisional and final merit list will be displayed on its official website.
In case of discrepancies, candidates can submit grievances during the display of provisional list at the facilitation center.
Candidates have to log in to fill and confirm online option form with preferences of colleges and courses.
CAP is conducted in 3 rounds and once college is allotted, candidates have to report to the allotted institute to confirm the admission.
