Placement Experience:
We have a placement cell at amity. there is a faculty assigned for the same. he looks after the campus placements of students in various big companies. last semester students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered was around 12-13 LPA. A lot many students get placed in big companies like Citi Bank, Bisleri, Cybage, etc. I plan to work in some big MNC after my degree.

The college organises campus placement for the students but honestly the placement opportunities are not very good. A number of companies visit the campus but the job profiles offered and the package is very disappointing. The companies come for the personal interview at the campus and if you perform well then they select you as well but the package and job profile is not very satisfying. Most of these are marketing based profiles, even for finance students.

In fact, over 30,000 students have got campus placements this year with MBA students getting salary packages of up to Rs.14 lacs p.a. This is ensured by a dedicated Placement Cell at each campus that not only guides students on their career plan but grooms them for success in interviews through group discussion & public speaking techniques.

Our college has a splendid placement record, offering placements to almost 90% of the students. Even in my batch, almost 100% of the students got placed, though out of these many were those who went for their own venture. Average placement package for a student pursuing MBA from AGBS college is 10 LPA, while one of my friends even scored a package of 15 LPA from Amazon.

Placements were also pretty great and had some of the top-most companies from all over the country paying a visit during the recruitment session. Some of these big names include Amazon, Think & Learn, Zycus, ITS, Aditya Birla, etc. The highest package secured by a student during on-campus placements was 13 LPA, while the average package was 4 LPA during my batch.

Placements were just okayish in our college and still had a lot of room for improvement. Though, the assistance we received from the staff was impeccable. Coca Cola, ITC, Wipro are some of the top brands which visit our campus. Currently, I am working as a consultant in an MNC and pretty satisfied with this college.

The placements were fine and came to a lot of companies who had visited my college Wipro, Radisson Hotels & Resorts and many more. The highest package for last year was 17 lakhs. In the second year of the MBA course, we were supposed to choose an area of our interest.
