I would say the course curriculum is pretty solid in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. It covers all the essential topics in depth, which gives you a strong foundation in the subject. At the same time, I feel there are a few areas that could be more hands-on.

Strengths Interdisciplinary Approach: BMM typically includes subjects like journalism, advertising, public relations, media studies, and communication theories, offering a well-rounded understanding of the media industry. Practical Orientation: Many curricula emphasize hands-on learning through projects, internships, and workshops, preparing students for real-world challenges. Relevance to Industry: Subjects like digital media, content creation, and branding address current trends and skills in demand. Focus on Communication Skills: The program develops essential communication and critical thinking skills, applicable across various careers. Limitations Outdated Content: Some universities still have syllabi that do not fully reflect the rapidly evolving media landscape, particularly in areas like AI, data analytics, and digital marketing. Limited Technical Skills: While creative aspects are often covered, the curriculum may lack focus on technical proficiencies such as video editing, analytics tools, or programming skills for multimedia platforms.

Curriculum is very neatly developed including all the aspects of filmmaking. Although it's very theoretical course it's okay to expect so looking at fees being charged, still some inclusion of practical film gears will be appreciated. There are just 3 lectures of 1 hour each everyday which are sufficient to gain knowledge and also provides entire day to actually work on idea or to take up an internship or job in media houses to gain experience.
