Grd - the best

Likes

The Infrastructure is the major thing i like being at grd
Friendly staffs who will support you all the way even after you graduate they help you
Best campus which not only focusus on the academics but also shares equal amount of importance to cocurricular activities

Dislikes

College timings as it was like school for the full day from 9 to 4

Admission:

I choose Grd because of the: course specialization,faculty curriculum,placement, peer group and culture.there is no specific entrance exam to get admission at grd. You have to score decent mark in 12th

The environment which is more easier to attend the class without boring
The interactions with faculties was more friendly
The exams are easier to pass and cleared

The infrastructure was not good in this college
We cannot find the main entrance of the college
The college is not well secured because any one can enter into the college

I have choosen this college because I have applied for another college but the process is to slow so I applied for this college and i have got the seat easily and i get rejection from the other college because the percentage is low

Life at GRD

Likes

We got a small campus yet it provide peace and a mindful place to learn
Each blocks of college campus has unique events to enhance a perfect enviroment to learn and to enjoy
Got good teaching faculty and perfect placement events

Dislikes

We got a stuffed parking places for both cars and bikes if those parking gets stuffed we got to park all remaning vechicals inside the college ground

Admission:

Well I have applied for more than three colleges in between of these I was doing my Neet exams my score was not much I got 447 in need exams and yet was not interested in doing MBBS so I really wanted to do psychology so when it comes to grd I found it flexible with the courses and also they was not dress code and comparative from other colleges grd got so many exposures lot to learn and in spite of this I got admission in PSG I have already paid my admission steps in grd so I was not able to make it in PSG and I was not rejected and all I prefer other colleges like got a vibrate campus and when it comes to admission process there was no exams for getting into UG is an all based on your 12th marks I in the school which you have done and some people you have got up paid the donation but it is very rare I prefer GRT for and vibrant happy enthusiastic a better place to learn in better place to have placements and for PGS you will be having entrance exams and you will also be referred with your uji's in your performance in UG exam

Best college in my view

Likes

I personally appreciate everyone of the faculty working there who’s always cheerful and loveable to everyone
Faculty treat everyone as their own child and I love my college campus and the course teaching methods was very good and superb
I really enjoyed my college days nowadays and at the same time I study well because of the teaching methods

Dislikes

Many times faculty were late to the class that is very irritatable
Strength of our college was so low and coz of that going to college feels uncomfortable
And in our department function held will be less that is a major drawback

My college life

Likes

The college has a very nice set of people compared to other colleges in Coimbatore as there are a few outside states and NRI people studying in the college
The college has a very neat corridor and classes there is not much dirtiness or mess about the surroundings
The college is very liberal and encourages students to participate in every outside event and let them gain knowledge

Dislikes

The staffs sometimes don’t respect NRI people that much and sometimes fail to treat them with respect
People are not given enough chance to stand out inside the college in intra college events
Some students must be given hard enough punishments as they cause a lot of nuisance in the college

I like the faculty every one are so friendly
We can enjoy the college days like events happening there
Like the creative events conducted by or students and by our college

Dislikes

The space of the college which is very small infrastructure
Partiality between the courses like international business and accounting and finance
Give more importance to the international business students

I choose this college because of they consider our creative mind and help us to grow in our side activities like business editing, videography, and all and the events conducted in our colleges are very, very useful for of future things to understand about the business and everything

Myself and my campus life

Likes

Culture and events such as scib events are mostly enjoyable and knowledgeable. Interactive events like face to face are mostly enjoyable and it considered as one of the memorable moments in life.
More celebrities(actor and actress) will be invited. So that it shall considered as a precious moment in life long where we dont get opportunity even though we are exist in the world.
Both college and hostel friends were comfortable and adoptable. No more indiscipline activities included in my gang.

Dislikes

Well, were we go the favour’ism and group’ism will be coming back along with us. Just we need to be concentrated in our own aim and goal
Hostel food is well goof. No doubt in that . But it was repetitive. The menu will be repeated again and again. Forsure you will be getting fed up.
Liberal is good. But I believe that liberal is more applied in this college.

Admission:

First of all i have applied to the both psg cas and sri krishna arts and science. I get rejected by psg by low cut off. And i get skasc but the hostel is didint allocated to me. Due to lack of rooms. I have choosed GRD college of science. One of the top 100 nirf ranking in india of arts and science colleges in the year 2023.

Why is my mistake of getting into GRD COLLEGE, Coimbatore worth it

Likes

The events that are held very often, game events and guest lectures are too good.
The freedom the college offers to students

Dislikes

Infrastructure could've been a lot better
Teachers know English but the level of English expected is not reached

Admission:

I didn't apply to other colleges, I wanted to go here and I applied here, the application procedure was very easy and quick, it was very simple and the staffs accompany us to help us choose what's best for us.

Over view of GRD college of arts and science

Likes

I like the events that are conducted by the college
They teach us extra soft skills like tally
The college infrastructure was very good

Dislikes

The collage infrastructure is small compared to other collages
The management collect us extra 4500 as book fees
If we absent for one period they mark us half a day absent

Admission:

I applied to PSG and Sri Krishna but I didn't get psg and also compared to Sri Krishna I have better placement offers in this college so I chose GRD college and except for infrastructure everything in GRD is good even the infrastructure is not too bad we have a green environment. Yes I'm rejected by PSG and Christ University In PSG I don't have a good percentage to join and I have not performed to well in interviews. There is no admission Process you should score above 60% in the 12 board exam and you have to pay an admission fee you can also apply through online and offline applications are also available.

Life in GRD

Likes

Our college invites celebrities very often
Events that are conducted for the freshers breaks the ice
Activities planned are really great and they take care of all the expenses

Dislikes

The price for boot camp is a bit costly!
No football or cricket field is provided!
Overall size of the college is smaller compared to other colleges in coimbatore

The colleges better than this in coimbatore is basically PSGCAS and KCAS as there are better placements but i chose this college as the freedom and events in this college is good compared to all the other colleges apart from psg and krishna
