Located in the city of Indore, Pioneer Institute of Professional Studies (PIPS) is an autonomous and Jain minority institute offering professional courses. 

It has AICTE approval with permanent affiliation with Devi Ahilya University, Indore.

PIPS offers admission to MBA and PGDM courses and students can have admission through online off-campus counseling conducted by DTE, M.P on the basis of CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT.

PIPS Indore Admission Highlights 2023:

At the postgraduate level, the institute offers a degree course of MBA in 5 specializations and PGDM in 14 specializations. The courses are of two years duration with a total intake of 300 students in MBA and 60 students in PGDM.

Aspirants planning to opt for an MBA course have to register for online off-campus admission counseling on the basis of CMAT scores. While PGDM aspirants can apply directly at the institute on the basis of CMAT/ CAT/MAT/XAT/MPMET valid scores.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and secured minimum 50% marks.

• PGDM candidates need to have passed the graduation degree.
• As per DTE, MP rules a candidate not holding CMAT scores can also apply on the basis of merit of qualifying degree examination. The counseling for such candidates is held separately.
• Admission to PGDM is based on marks obtained in any entrance test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview round conducted by the institute.
• Candidates appearing in their final degree exams can also apply on the basis of valid test scores.

Students planning to pursue graduation can opt for courses like B.Sc, B.Com, BCA and BBA at the UG level. Candidates can apply directly by filling admission form or contacting admission cell.

Thereafter, a candidate’s application will be processed as per the Higher Education guidelines for admissions. Institute will then display the name of the selected candidates at the website confirming the admission process.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board by securing a minimum of 50% marks.

• Reserved category candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 examinations.

The institute is an approved center of research by Devi Ahilya University. It grants a Ph.D. degree in the field of Management. To be eligible for admissions candidates must appear in Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) conducted by the university. DET Management is a computer-based test. 

The candidates scoring a minimum of 50% marks in the test will be selected to appear in the interview conducted by the concerned department.

A candidate must at the time of application possess a Master’s degree in management and have secured a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent marks in M.Phil Degree from the DAU or any other recognized university.

Key points:

• NET/GATE/JEST/MPSLET qualified candidates or Teacher Fellowship holders or M.Phil. degree holders are exempted from the entrance test but will be required to appear in the entrance.
• Such candidates have to compulsorily register online at the university by paying the requisite fee.

As per the Department of Higher Education, M.P minority institutes are exempted from the centralized online admission procedures. Hence, candidates seeking admission into UG courses must apply directly to the institute. The application form is available in online and offline mode.

Offline Mode:

Applicants can purchase the form directly from the institute by paying INR 500 in cash or obtain by post on payment of INR 550.

Online Mode:

For online applications, candidates have to fill an admission inquiry form on the college website. Based on the request, the college authority will provide information about the online application procedure via email or SMS.

MBA Application Process: 

Candidates desirous of applying for the MBA course must have applied for CMAT for taking part in the online off-campus counseling conducted by DTE, M.P. Candidates are required to register for the counseling.

Ph.D. Application Process:

Candidates desirous of pursuing a Ph.D. must apply online at the official website of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The cost of application form is INR 1000 to be paid through the online payment gateway.
