ANDC Delhi University Admission 2025 FAQs

Ques. What are the specific benefits of ANDC’s foreign language diploma courses during the admission process?

Ans. ANDC Delhi University offers diploma/certificate courses in German, French, Spanish, and Russian, which don’t directly impact UG/PG admissions but enhance students' profile. The admission is open from October 2025. The benefit of this program is that it helps students enhance their language proficiency and portray their versatile skills. It also helps them to apply for international programs like DAAD Scholarships for Biosciences. It helps the students during their placement as well. Companies like Accenture value this skill and give preferences to the students. The yearly fees for foreign programs is INR 5000-7000.

Ques. How does ANDC’s spot admission process work if I miss regular CSAS rounds?

Ans. If seats remain vacant after regular CSAS rounds (typically by October 2025), ANDC participates in DU’s spot rounds. The eligibility criteria is to apply for CUET. Spot round admission is usually less competitive in B.Sc Physical Science programs. Students have to pay INR 24,000 on the spot to freeze their seats.

Ques. How does ANDC handle ECA/Sports quota admissions differently from regular seats?

Ans. ANDC follows DU’s ECA/Sports quota guidelines but has limited seats (typically 1–2 per program). Sports quota students have to pay an extra INR 100 for their registration. The college also conducts trials at the college to test the students’ capabilities. The final score is 25% CUET and 75% trial performance. Submission of fake certificates lead to permanent disqualification.

Acharya Narendra Dev College Admissions: Students' Opinion

  • BCom
  • BSc

AI-Generated Summary based on 49 Reviews

Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC) offers admission to its Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Hons.) program primarily through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). To be eligible, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination. Admission is contingent on CUET performance, with students required to fill out preference sheets on the Delhi University website post-results. The university allocates colleges based on CUET scores and stated preferences. Students may upgrade their allocations in successive rounds if higher cutoffs are met.

Reservation benefits are available, providing relaxed cutoffs for eligible categories. The college, part of the esteemed Delhi University, competes with other university-affiliated institutions offering similar courses, leading to generally higher cutoffs for B.Com compared to B.Sc. The admission process is structured and efficient, with most steps completed online. Admissions timelines follow the CUET exam cycle, and the procedure is less cumbersome at the college level. Management or direct quota admissions are not mentioned, indicating they likely follow the standard entry process.

Category considerations can influence placement in preferred campuses like North or South Campus, affecting admissions strategy.

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category.
