About Thangavelu Engineering College
Thangavelu Engineering College was established in the year 1995 by Ponniamman Educational Trust and the TJ Educational Trust with the objective of producing high-quality Engineers and Technocrats. The rapid progress made by our country in the field of Science and Technology has given rise to phenomenal demand for qualified engineers in all areas and to cope with the demand there has been a surge in institutions offering engineering education.
The campus with well-built classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, workshops, a modern computer center, and a well-stocked library can be compared to the best available elsewhere. The College is situated in Karapakkam, 10 km away from Tambaram and 1 km from Sholinganallur, off the Old Mahabalipuram Road (IT Highway) and is well connected by road. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education AICTE, New Delhi, Affiliated to Anna University Chennai, and an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution.

The admission process is quick and genuine. They collect their original certificates. They verify their certificates step by step. The fee for admission is 3000 it is over much price. They want to decrease their fees for admission.

Candidates can apply for UG/PG courses offered by TEC ( Thangavelu Engineering College]) through Anna University counseling. Must register for counseling by providing his/her personal details. Once the registration is successful, the candidate can proceed to fill out the online application form. Payment should be done online, and then based on the cutoffs candidates will call for counseling.

I got this college via counseling process,the admission process was good and the students who have first graduation has separate quota SC,ST,OBC quota is also available even we can get inside College through management
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the computer science course for my future and I made it in good path. Students are about 5:4 ratio and they maintain a good discipline over them. They are doctrate and trained teachers at all.

The college have good environmental condition and it is suitable to study.

Normal fees only. Some teachers are good. They take class in efficient way. But guys won't look this class. They will bunk and go. Management is not that much good and no placement. Labs are there but it won't function
