23, Broke, Switched from Civil to CS via Lateral Entry — Is B.Tech Worth It or Should I Start Earning Now?
I'm 23 years old and recently completed my diploma in civil engineering, but honestly, I have zero interest in field jobs or construction work. I always felt more drawn to tech, so I applied through lateral entry (LET) for B.Tech in Computer Science, and luckily I got a seat at TKM College. Here's the catch I'm starting from scratch financially. My bank balance is literally zero, and I have no stable income right now. What is a better option: to take any course and land a job quickly, or to pursue B.Tech? Is there a way to make money while studying? edit: myquals diploma in civil engineering
