Sri Sairam Engineering College Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course for the scope. Because this course has a scope and I need to develop my skills. The faculties are divided by department and some faculties are very friendly and some faculties are strict. Then they conduct exams on a monthly one.

Placement training is started in the 5th semester. more than 250 companies visiting our college like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. The highest package in our college is 30 lacs per annum and the average package is 6 lacks per annum, more than 95 percent of students were placed in past years.

* students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester * companies likeTCS,Wipro,Zoho,mindtree,Infosys,hcl, tech Mahindra,etc. Are visited the college and approximately 600 to 700 offers are given per year * the highest package is 27LPA and the average package is 4LPA for freshers * more than 90 percentage of students are placed * working in a company for few year and start my own startup

After 6th semester students are eligible for the placements.There are many core company recruiting our college students. For my department, The companies like car technologies, hyundai, andritz etc and each company will give 3 to 6 offers. the average package will be 3.5 lpa. the percentage will be depending on the company recruiting generally on a average the students who had no history of arrears and above 8 CGPA are getting placed every year. I also hope that I too get a placement in a core company with high salary package.

The students can sit for placements from the 6-7th semester. The students must possess 65% above in 12th grade and must have at least 70% cgpa with possibly no backlogs. The highest packages will be available and eligible for the CSE/IT students or for the students in other departments who are best at coding. Or you can also opt for higher studies by not signing the consent form to sit in the placements.

Placements in our college are very good. Almost 90% of the students get placed. Many companies like Hyundai, Renault Nissan, Larsen and Toubro, etc come for placement every year. After 3rd year, they are eligible for placement.
