SKNCOE Admission 2025 - Eligibility and Selection Criteria

B.E.: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Selection is based on MHT-CET or JEE Main scores, followed by CAP counselling conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra.

B.E. (Lateral Entry): Candidates must have completed a diploma in engineering/technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Selection is based on merit and CAP counselling.

M.E.: Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a valid GATE score. Admission is granted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra.

MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Selection is based on MAH-MBA/MMS-CET conducted by the State CET Cell, followed by counselling rounds.

Ph.D.: Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field. Selection is merit-based and may include an interview process as per Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) guidelines.

SKNCOE Admission 2025 - Total Intake

SKNCOE offers multiple undergraduate and postgraduate programs across engineering and management disciplines.

The total intake capacity for its B.E. programs include 300 seats each in Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, 330 seats in Mechanical Engineering, and 120 seats in Information Technology. At the postgraduate level, the college offers M.E. in Computer Engineering with an intake of 18 students, and MBA with 60 seats. Good Campus life and study quality

Admission:

I applied through MAHCET portal and I was assigned this college. Other colleges I applies were MESCOE, Modern College, VIIT etc. I couldn't make it there due to cut off. After you get this college allotted through mahcet you jave to come to college and freeze your seat. Admission process is quite smooth and is completed in one day. No other exams for admission are conducted.

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. Admission process is just like any other engineering college,seat is allocated via CAP rounds after giving exams like JEE and CET. cutoff for both of them are different on various parameters like branch,category, gender or pwd,etc. When I got admission here cut off for general category closed at 91 percentile in CET for computer engineering department

The college life i have.....

Admission:

Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges. The admission process is you apply through mhtcet portal for various colleges and you get selected through your marks range. There are some management through admissions in our college by paying 6-7 lakhs maybe.

Admission:

College have better placement that any other college at which i was applied. Also college provide hostel facility which was i need the most . And the admission process was very step by step. Ghete are difference rooms for different steps
