Shaikh College of Engineering and Technology is a private institute which was established in the year 2009 and is located in Belgaum, Karnataka.

Shaikh College of Engineering and Technology offers the B.E. course at the under graduate level under 4 specializations.

The minimum eligibility for B.E. is that candidate must pass 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology as an optional subject, having secured minimum 45% marks. For B.E. Lateral entry, candidate must pass Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks.

First year B.E. seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in the Karnataka CET entrance examination and second year lateral entry seats will be allotted to Diploma holders on the basis of their performance in the Karnataka DCET entrance examination. The counselling process for both the entrance examination will be conducted by KEA.

Candidates applying for KCET or DCET entrance examination must register at KEA official website.

Visit the official website of KEA and click on link for online application form.
Fill the form online and upload the necessary documents.
The application fee can be paid in the online mode through net banking / debit card / credit card.
A print out of the KCET application confirmation page needs to be taken for further procedures.
The confirmation page will be generated upon successful completion and submission of the online application form.

The admission in this college is through the KCET exam held every year in the month of April/May and the students are then selected on the basis of their merit. There is very less no. of seats in each department so the competition is high.
