The minimum eligibility for B.E. is that candidate must pass 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology as an optional subject, having secured minimum 45% marks. For B.E. Lateral entry, candidate must pass Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
First year B.E. seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in the Karnataka CET entrance examination and second year lateral entry seats will be allotted to Diploma holders on the basis of their performance in the Karnataka DCET entrance examination. The counselling process for both the entrance examination will be conducted by KEA.
