Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain University (FET JU), Bangalore, offers scholarships to support deserving students and reduce financial barriers to education. It awards merit-based scholarships primarily based on academic performance and results in the Jain Entrance Test (JET).

FET Jain University Scholarships 

Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN provides scholarships to eligible students based on entrance exam performance, academic merit, sports achievements, category norms, and national-level qualifications, as per university and regulatory guidelines.

B.Tech Scholarship

Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) offers merit-based scholarships to B.Tech applicants based on their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates applying for B.Tech programmes at FET JU are considered for this scholarship based on their JEE Main scores.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen and residing in India.
  • ​Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in 12th / 2nd PUC / equivalent examination, as prescribed by AICTE and UGC.

Scholarship Selection Process

  • After the declaration of JEE Main results, the University Scholarship Committee prepares a merit list of eligible candidates.
  • The list of shortlisted candidates is published on the official University website.
  • Shortlisted applicants must attend the Scholarship Counselling Round (SCR). Details of the counselling session are communicated to candidates via their registered email ID.
  • The final merit-cum-means scholarship list is released on the University website after counselling and document verification.
  • Selected candidates must complete the provisional admission formalities within the stipulated time mentioned in the scholarship/admission offer, failing which the scholarship will be withdrawn.

Scholarship Amount

  • The University offers a tuition fee waiver of up to 25% for the first year only.
  • Performance-based scholarships in subsequent years may be awarded as per the norms of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).

  • Scholarships at Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) are awarded based on category-specific eligibility such as JEE Main scores, academic merit, sports achievements, defence background, SC/ST norms, or GATE qualification.
  • After the declaration of entrance examination results, the FET Scholarship Committee prepares a merit-based shortlist.
  • Shortlisted candidates are informed through the official FET/Jain University website and their registered email ID.
  • Eligible candidates may be required to attend a Scholarship Counselling Round, as applicable.
  • Final selection is subject to document verification and completion of provisional admission formalities within the stipulated time.
  • The decision of the FET Scholarship Committee is final.
