reality and usefull

Likes

Exam pattern, mid sem exams which is based on BEST OF TWO, library
canteen is good and the food is good in the college , environment is good
classrooms are good with smart boards and AC everywhere , good surrounding

Dislikes

no space in break time to sit, also classrooms are less
training and placements held during exam days , which makes us choose between one
so far away from the outside location, need a vehicle or extra charge have to give to transport

Admission:

firstly, the college was not that much far from my home, particularly i chose that and also i saw good teaching and placements there, that is why i chose SVIT, the students are good , can be fit with surrounding and not that much big college so easy infrastructure , as compared to different colleges, admission process is done after meeting twice

Many of the classroom have air conditioners and we can hop into any empty classroom and use the ac if the classroom is empty and is not being used in that time
College provides free wifi for everyone and you can access the wifi from most of the areas of the campus
Beautiful campus, has 2 big play grounds and is fun to hang round over there

Dislikes

poor wifi speeds sometimes, plus each student is limited to about 2gb of data usage of wifi
the canteen is so overlay crowded in break time, many students don't get any seats to have their lunch
canteen is only open for faculty members during anual day

Well at that time i didn't know anything about which colleges are good and which are not, same does for cources. Thus my father had applied to this college for me and ofc he didn't all the admission process so I don't know unfortunately.

Current Details of SVIT

Likes

The college has a girl's room where females can freely rest and sit , their were no cctv camera for their privacy in their room.
The college has initiated NSS activites and yoga sessions for Faculties and students.
The faculties are well experienced, the teaching environment and interactions are a vital part of curriculum.

Dislikes

The pavillion sometimes get over crowded and congested due medium size .

Admission:

Honestly I targeted SVIT, because it was near by vadodara, easy to travel and timings were also good enough to get adpoted with. The fews structure and environment their is much better than other colleges. The admission process is through ACPC, vacant quota, management quota and SC/ST quota. I got admission through vacant quota after 2nd round of ACPC. The cutoff for ACPC in Computer Engineering at my admission time was 5000. And for vacanct quota it was extended to 9000 after 3rd round of ACPC . The admission process was smooth. Also every year, mock GUJCET is taken in college and top scorer gets waiver on fees .

I liked the infrastructure it's really good for freshers.
The environment and the cafeteria area is well maintained
The teaching system is very good and classroom are very good.

Dislikes

There is a little bit of some books in Library
Books available in library are very old and dusty.
The bus facility is quite bad compare to other institutions.

Admission:

I live in Vadodara and I have a good alumi network from this college. All the previous passed out students suggested me that computer science of this college is best compared to any other institutions. I just face one difficulty while admission is that I have to come to college three to four times with my parents for the procedure. It should be online .

currenly I am in SY and development in our college is so good . Digital boards , Air conditioners facilities , and Good computer labs also provided . there are somethings to improvement and college currently doing work on it like football ground etc.
As student it is very friendly environment with juniors as well as seniors and social interaction is also good . campus canteen is also good
Facultyies are also friendly in nature and provide proper guidance about perticular field and also gives different opportunities about learning skill , self development , technical point of view

Dislikes

in rainy season water problem due to Mahisagar river near but college management awared about level of water

As honestly talking I Have appliesd for MS university Vadodara but my rank not eligible to get admission in there so second I applied for Svit vasad and i got admmision in IT branch . I didn't think about this college but now I am realising that this college is so good . IN admission process college wants your personal and academics and also give friedly support and facilityies .

My first year college experience was overall average because of covid pandemic, however our college conduct our online lecture in google meet or zoom by facltuies. even, our exam was online base on mcq method , that's why good good marks
in second and third year , i mostly participated online coding competion, even our college held bro code event in codeshaf platform
thirdly, placement practice session was good even I got good placement.

Dislikes

i think infrastructure of college specily individual department.
Moreover, way of teaching method, in college I think that's make should improve aslo.
thirdly, examination method like assingment, mid sem, practical notes, which was unusal.

Admission:

I was catagaries of EWS, and SVIT college is 6th number of college among gujarat technical inviersity. And this rank base on palcement and campus systems. So, I chose this college was good for me. I took admition thorugh ACPC system. That's help me to take format thorugh admition.

The education provided in the college is very good and the faculty is also very good and has a lot of experience
The campus life of the college is very exciting, the atmosphere is very good, there is no problem of anything
The faculty of the college is very supportive and there is no complaint from the faculty about anything.

Dislikes

There is no shortage of anything in college but I feel college is very far from home.
College transport fees are very high the buses are old

Admission:

I had selected names of many colleges in ACPC but due to my rank I got admission in this college, if I had a higher rank I would have got admission in another college I also applied to DAIICT and BVM Jesi colleges but I got admission in this college

I applied in PDEU, Gandhinagar but unfortunately due to personal reasons I changed my decision to take admission into this college, also i haven't got any seat in PDEU Yes got a rejection from PDEU The admission process of my college is very simple and based on the result of 12th Standard, the cutoff for my course in my college is 80%in 12th Standard

First I'm applying for a Msu and in 2nd position I'm applying for svit.I also get a admission in other colleges like kpgu,kjit,itm,vit but i don't want to take a admission their and svit is a good college.for study,placement and for other activities also.so that's why I choose svit. I didn't get a admission in msu because of high merit. Admission process in our college is from acpc
