Saraswati Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2008 and is located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. For B.Tech and MBA courses, the institute is affiliated to Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (AKTU), BBA and BCA courses are approved by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCSU) and Polytechnic courses are affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Lucknow (BTE).
SIET offers B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBA and Polytechnic courses. Additionally, the institute offers B.Tch and Polytechnic courses through lateral entry also.

Saraswati Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Course Admissions 2024
SIET offers B.Tech degree in four disciplines. Minimum eligibility for B.Tech course is passing in HSC with Physics, Mathematics and any Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biology as subjects with at least 50% marks. Candidates can also take admission through Lateral Entry to B.Tech course if they have passed B.Sc or 3-year diploma with at least 60% marks.
For admission to 85% seats, candidates need to pass UPSEE- entrance exam. For B.Tech and B. Tech Lateral Entry programs, they have to appear for Paper 1, 6 and Paper 8 respectively. Students having B.Sc. Degree will be given admission to B.Tech lateral entry course if the seats in this category are left after admitting Diploma candidates.

- Admission to 15% seats is on the basis of the qualifying exam.
- 5% relaxation is given to SC/ ST candidates in qualifying exam criteria.
- Paper 1 of UPSEE for B.Tech consists of 150 questions for 300 marks.

At undergraduate level, SIET offers BBA and BCA programs. Candidates applying to BBA and BCA must have passed HSC with at least 45% marks. Eligibility for applying to Polytechnic courses is that they must have passed SSC or X with science subjects.
Admission to the UG and Polytechnic courses is done on the basis of qualifying examination. Detailed eligibilty criteria for both is given below:-

Saraswati Institute of Engineering and Technology offers MBA as a PG course in Management. Candidates applying for admission to MBA must have done graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
MBA applicants have to sit for paper 9 in the UPSEE entrance exam. Check the eligibility criteria given below:-

- Paper 9 of UPSEE consists of 100 questions of 400 marks.
- The questions in the MBA entrance are from English Language, Reasoning and Numerical Aptitude.
Saraswati Institute of Engineering and Technology & Application Process
Candidates applying for B.tech, MBA or B.Tech (lateral entry) have to sit for UPSEE entrance exam. In order to apply for the same, candidates need to follow below steps:
- Go to website www.upsee.nic.in
- Click the link UPSEE-UG for B.Tech and B.tech lateral entry course and UPSEE PG for MBA course
- Carefully fill the application form. For application fee, make payment of INR 1,200 (INR 600 for SC/ ST/PH and women candidates) through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking
Those who have been allotted SIET in counselling, need to report with the following documents (both original and three sets of photocopies):
- Mark sheet and Passing Certificate of both HSC and SSC
- Graduation Mark sheet (for PG courses)
- Passport size colored photograph (4)
- Aadhar Card
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Gap Certificate (if applicable)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Physical Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- Allotment Certificate.
Reservation
- Only candidates who have domicile of UP state can avail benefits of reservation.
- Of the total seats, 5% seats in each course, which will be over and above of the sanctioned intake are reserved as TFW seats.
- Weight age of 3% of the total marks obtained at UPSEE will be given to those who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution situated in rural area of Uttar Pradesh.
