21 Jun, 2025 Saraswati College of Engineering Navi Mumbai has extended the Online Pre-Registration deadline for UG Admission 2025 upto June 27, 2025. Aspirants must register online @mu.ac.in/admission and should also submit the college application form separately. The merit lists will be released at the institute level if seats remain vacant. Saraswati College of Engineering is a premier engineering institute in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The college was established in September 2004 and is affiliated to Mumbai University.

SCOE Kharghar offers four-year B.E courses and two-year M.E courses. The annual intake for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program in Engineering is 630 and 18, respectively.

10+2 qualification is a prerequisite for admission to B.E, whereas graduation degree is essential for the candidates applying for PG courses.
Admission to B.E is based on Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main)
Candidates are admitted to M.E through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
The college reserves seats as per the rules of State Government.

SCOE Kharghar B.E Admission 2024

Saraswati College of Engineering offers a B.E degree under 7 disciplines for which the annual intake is 630 students. Applicants should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject as one of the optional subjects. Candidates who hold a Diploma in Engineering can also apply.

For the admission to direct second year, the candidates must have an Indian nationality and should have passed a Diploma in Engineering or Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks. Those who have passed a B.Sc degree from UGC recognized institution with at least 45% marks and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as the main subject and with English as a medium of instruction are also eligible to apply for direct admission to the second year.

The college prepares a merit list of all the eligible candidates who hold a valid JEE Main/ MHT CET score. The merit list of the selected candidates will be prepared according to their scores.

Note: 80% of every intake in every discipline is open for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) round admission as per DTE rules:

65% of the Central Admission Process (CAP) is through MHT-CET.
15% of the Central Admission Process (CAP) is through JEE/ MHT-CET for MS/ OMS candidates.
20 % admission for institute-level quota.

SCOE Kharghar M.E Admission 2024

SCOE Kharghar offers M.E courses in Civil Engineering for which the annual intake is 18. The candidates must be Indian Nationals and have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & Technology from AICTE or a Central or State Government institution with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved categories).

The selection of the candidates is based on a valid GATE score.

Key points:

The college gives preference to the students who hold domicile certificates of the state.

SCOE Kharghar Application Process 2024

For the online applications through CAP, candidates need to visit the official website of DTE and follow these steps:

Click on “Apply Online” link under B.E/ B.Tech Admission 2021 tab on the home page.
Register with a valid email id and phone number.
Log in through the link received by mail.
Fill the mandatory details and upload the documents.
Proceed to pay the CET application fee.
The application fee for the candidates of unreserved categories for B.E/ B.Tech program is INR 800.
Application fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit card or Net banking.

For the offline applications, seats to be filled at institute level (20% of the intake), candidates need to follow these steps:

Visit the official website of the college.
Select the Academics tab at the home page.
Select Admissions link and then click on Downloads link.
Select the Admissions forms for Engineering link.
Download the admission form and take the printout of the form.

Fill the mandatory details and attach the copies of the following documents:

My College Life - A Beautiful Experience

Admission:

For getting admission in Engineering colleges, we need to crack the entrance exam. I gave MHT-CET entrance exam and got 78%ile in the same. This college was not my first preference but as my percentile is low, I got this college. Comparing to other colleges I know, it's not that great but it's a good college if we put some extra efforts on our studies.

I applied for CSMIT in CAP ROUND 1. After reviewing the college the facilities and faculty was not that good. Afterward in CAP ROUND 2 - I applied for Saraswati college of engineering here as on visiting I found out about bus service provided by college itself, railway pass concessions, great campus and super supportive and nice faculty. After being assigned the college in 2nd CAP ROUND you can visit the college and freeze your choice. Upon which you will be given the application letter from the CAP ROUND.

A good college for engineering

Admission:

I had a jee score of 78% and was selected in the third cap round. The admission process was easy. You have to collect the application form at the college. They helped everyone out with the forms and cleared the doubts. The fees varies from course to course obviously. Mine was 97000 for BE (Information Technology) including stationary and excluding transportation. There's reservation criteria for concession in fees. You have to apply for it later when the college starts. Exams are not too tough and prepare you for the sem. Everything else is fine

This is just my perspective

Admission:

The admission process was done based on the cutoff percentage obtained by the students in diploma. I was eligible for the course as I had done diploma in computer engineering. The application form, application fees and dates were available in the college. I availed reservation benefits since I belong to OBC. One thing I would like to improve about the admission process is that it is tedious and takes a long time, the procedure for the admission needs to br explained well.
