Placement Experience:

The placements at CGC Landran is one of the factors that why it has a large amount of crowd. We had a joint campus placements at our college. Mainly three colleges- Chandigarh University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjheri participated in it. The placements season started from May 2019 for us and a good number of companies visited. Most of them were either for IT services or for sales. But there was a good number of companies and the package the delivered was also quite good. The minimum pacakage was 3 LPA AND MAXIMUM WAS 33 LPA (GOOGLE). Other companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldmann sacs and many big names visited. Top MNC like wipro Cognizant, Mindtree etc also visited. Cognizant is providing a stipend of 12000 out of which 1200 will be deducted as tax.

College review is ok

Placement Experience:

There are placement opportunities for cse and it students. it is not the same with civil and mechanical students. No our college doesn't provide internships. For internships student has to choose industries on his own.

I belong to civil stream, so let me start with my stream. There is not a single placement in civil engineering. However students of civil stream can go for the placements belongs to Computer science n I.T Companies

I LOVE MY COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Placement criteria is well grounded and 70% of the crowd gets placed annually, There is a whole lot of scope for placements and big companies like Google, Volvo and Volkswagen come to our campuses for the placements, The companies and industries take the students and give them a great starter for their career and overall placement experience is well appreciated.

Will say decent as 70%_80% eligible students are placed but few students don't join the company( later they repent) Small and big companies amazon, wipro, Bosch, Ims, tech mahindra...... Packages are mostly average from 3.5 lac to 4.5 lac but few of 8.5 lac to 27 lacs.

Overall a Nice College

Placement Experience:

If say about placements only few companies came for placement and no mechanical company. I got placed but not in a mechanical company. So placement process is not so Good. And those who got placed are getting very small package like 1.5 to 2 lakh/annum.

Placement Experience:

Placement and Job opportunities is good here as TPC members with Student Coordinators try hard for Campus Placements. The highest figure was 10 Lakh offered and the lowest was 3.5 Lakh offered in my era. A good number of students were placed. Currently Amazon had selected few students in campus placement last year.

I think there is approximately 70% placements done every year. It depends upon number of eligible students and eligibility criteria of a company in which he /she wants to get job.
