Prasad Institute of Technology Jaunpur Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

At the undergraduate level, Prasad Institute of Technology B.Tech in 5 specializations. The intake capacity is 60 seats for each of the B.Tech specializations.

To be eligible, candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects.

Admission to the B.Tech program is done through UPSEE, which is conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). B.Tech admissions are also done on the basis of merit in JEE Main examination conducted by CBSE.

Key Points:

• 75% of the seats are filled by the University through UPSEE and 10% through JEE Main counselling depending on the rank obtained by the student.
• Remaining 15% seats (Management Quota) are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions as per AKTU (Formerly UPTU) guidelines.

Prasad Institute of Technology has two offerings in the field of Pharmaceutical Studies, both at UG and PG levels which are B.Pharm and M.Pharm. The intake for B.Pharm is 60 seats and M.Pharm is 18 seats in each branch.

For admission to the B.Pharm program, candidates should have passed 10+2 level examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above-mentioned subjects.

To apply for the M.Pharm program, the candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.

For admission, candidates must have to appear in UPSEE conducted by AKTU.

Note: Preference will be given to the candidates for admission in B.Pharm holding a valid Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) score.

In addition to the above-mentioned programs, the institute also offers an MBA program. The intake capacity for the MBA program is 60 seats.

To be eligible, candidates need to complete graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.

Admission to the MBA program is done through valid score in UPSEE. The final merit list is prepared considering the marks obtained in the entrance examination as well as in the previous qualifying examination.

Important points:

• 85% seats are allotted according to the merit of State Entrance Examination (SEE) of UP State through counseling as per the directives of AICTE, state government and affiliating university.
• 15% of total seats are filled on the basis of management quota admission procedure directly by the college as per the guidelines of affiliating university.
• During admission, preferences shall be given to the candidates having a valid CAT/MAT score.
