The college admissions require passing a common entrance test with objective questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Successful candidates then undergo counseling to choose their preferred branch. Forms for the entrance test can be obtained by mail. Most faculty members have doctorates and extensive teaching experience, ensuring quality education and strong industry ties for student projects and study tours. The alumni association also plays a crucial role in supporting students.
Fee structures vary: local Karnataka students pay 10,000 per semester, while those from outside Karnataka pay 40,000 per semester. Scholarships are available for students from defense families and the North East, along with assistance for purchasing equipment like calculators. The active training and placement cell has achieved a consistent placement rate of over 90%, with a 100% placement record for the 2006 batch at 1.5 LPA, and a company offering 3 LPA in 2009.
Notably, the Ceramics branch boasts a 100% campus recruitment rate. Companies such as Piramal Glass, Nitco Tiles, Jindal Steel, and Infosys conduct on-campus interviews, with Infosys open to all branches.
