Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-approved polytechnic with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per MAKAUT norms).
- Alternatively, B.Sc graduates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible.
- A valid JELET 2026 rank is mandatory for WBJEEB centralised counselling.
Admission Process
- Obtain a valid JELET 2026 rank (exam was held on June 13, 2026).
- Register for WBJEEB lateral counselling after result declaration in early July 2026.
- Fill preferences and select NSEC Kolkata in the B.Tech Lateral preference list.
- Download the seat allotment letter and report to NSEC with original documents.
