From Classroom to Career: Evaluating the Engineering Journey at NSS

Likes

The faculties were very experienced ones. The campus provide quality education and help students in academics very well. Always provide necessary requirements.
The quality of infrastructure were amazing which include every facilities like library canteens workshops labs that were necessary.
The courses provided by the university is professional ones and are useful degrees for everyone. As well the campus provide placements with good salary package.

Dislikes

Nothing is that much disliked. Students behaviour towards teacher and vice versa should be more good

Admission:

I have applied in all government engineering colleges because I mostly prefer government colleges. My first preferences were Thrissur engineering college and CET. NSS College is far more better than any other colleges in Kerala and have more facilities and experienced faculties

LIFE AT NSSCE

Likes

The overall campus atmosphere is superb. The hostel and social interaction also worth it .
The landscape where the college rests just increases its beauty
The senior teaching have great knowledge about what they ara studying

Dislikes

The bus facility near the college is very poor students have to travel 20 min to get a bus if they miss a bus from infront of the college
The university scheduling of each semester is very congested
College bus fees structure and timings are somewhat overated

Admission:

As a resident of palakkad i prefer this college due to short distance of travel from my home . The oather colleges didnt reject me but i prioritize this college over the other . Admission process was easy we only need to submit the allotment details and caste related documents , 10th and 12th marksheet

Life at NSSCE

Likes

The college gives more freedom compared to some private colleges.
The college management was good and faculities was more supportive
good infrastructure facilities and good playing ground.the technical societies in this college was very active

Dislikes

In lab they uses a bit older technologies
the syllubus followed by the universities was older technologies
On summer days the water was limited in this areas

A honest review on NSSCE Palakkad

Likes

Excellent academics facilities and expertised faculty
Excellent laboratory facilities and well equipped class rooms
Active physical education department and faculty,large play ground and games courts

Dislikes

Girls hostel timing were only till 7 o clock and they were forced to enter befire curfew time

Admission:

For admission,you have to write KEAM examination amd secure a decdnt rank as this is one of the most demanded colleges in kerala.You have to appear in allotment process and join if you gets tge allotment.The admission procedure was so smooth and as per KEAM rules. The course Instrumentation and control was available in very few colleges in kerala and this is the only government institution provides this particular course. Comparing the colleges,NSSCE gives the best quality if education in every aspects and placement offers were the best here

The hospitality of the group teachers .
The surroundings and the atmosphere in the college.
Our seniors and alumni.as well as the cooperation between them.

Admission:

My college is the best engineering college in Palakkad Kerala. I am living in Palakkad Kerala. Soy first priority was to study in a good government college having greater placement opportunities and also near to my home . Being in NSSCE fullfill all of these. So Enrollment into NSSCE is a great decision.

Overview of NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad

Likes

The campus is very big and nature friendly. Its environment was really good especially in rainy seasons.
They gave importance to sports and club activities like RDC, Rudra etc. Also, there are many international societies like IEEE, IEDC,ISTE, etc.
We can make good connections.there is a better senior-junior relationship differ from other colleges.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old. The lab facilities and many other facilities should be maintained in a bettet manner
college hostel facilities should be much improved.
after the lockdown era, management is getting more control over students which adversely affecting in the performance of college union and the programs

Admission:

The admission is through the KEAM exam. And cut-off for this branch varies each year. During my admission, the third allotment cut-off for electronics was nearly 11k for the general category . The keam score along with the +2 PCM score are added to get the total score. There were also management seats available which it was a government aided college.

NSS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING-Ensures a good Campus life

Likes

I liked the infrastructure and laboratory in our college
And the basic facilities they provide and the management encourages all kind of entertainment and events.The college union is always on top for organising different events
The faculties,even the guest lecturers are so good and well experienced

Dislikes

I didnt like the college hostel facilities especially mens hostel
There are dogs and cows roaming around the campus which a littld bit discomfort to many students
Canteen is sl basic and sometimes food will be out of stock very fastly

Admission:

Admission is usually done through KEAM entrance.You should get atleast 20k rank to get the least demanded course in the college.As the college is aidex you can avail the reservation if you're eligible.

Likes

Placement occures in last year which are high package
Internship offers in pwd construction project and all
College infrastructure is good with over 60 year old

Dislikes

There are cows and dogs roaming near college which are disturebing
I dont like our uniform personally but its now changed
Management control in our college ehich are strict

Through KEAM entrance exam i got my seat. For various reservation categories they got get seats based on rank. For reserved category there are scholarships. Through website of ktu colleges in kerala we could access college website or through www.nssce.ac.in

Honest review of NSS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Likes

College have a good atmosphere whether in morning or evening for studying and pursuing passion
All the facilities are qualified and have good knowledge about their field
Good alumini support and seniors are very friendly

Dislikes

Mostly strict in respect to studies and attendance
No night life in the campus. Almost all leave after 6 pm
Far from city causing bit dificult when travelling in night

Admission:

You should pass 10+2 with PCM and have good knowledge about these subjects We can take admission through two ways Management and merit . For merit you should write Keam examination which is held by kerala govt every year .It is a offline paper. The difficulty left is very less than JEE.A decent student can achieve good rank. Admission process quite long .If they colud make it faster ,it would be better

The nature around college is the best. Environment around college is of mountains and fields.
They provide better sports and arts relstrd activities.
They have a good library which is always approachable for any helps.

Dislikes

Certain teachers aren't friendly. But many teachers are great.
No digital resources for research purposes.
No. Placements have reduced in all colleges due to recession.

Admission:

The admission is through the KEAM exam. And cut-off for this branch varies each year. During my admission, the third allotment cut-off for electronics was 7000. The keam marm along with 12th marks are added for the rank.
