The campus and the classrooms are really nice..equiped with smart boards and projectors
the cafes in our campus are a place to chill out
The labs are really good and equiped with latest equipements

Dislikes

the teaching of some faculties are bad..not upto the mark
the library timings should be extended so that children can sit
Rest everything is great at my college and is manageable

Admission:

i had applied for vit velllore nut could not get into that college bcoz my rank was in some 50k which does not fetch me a cse or ece seat iin that institute..however i felt that the results were messed up

Likes

Our college having well experienced and students friendly teaching staff
The placements were good the college environment is very good
Our college have good library and labs

Dislikes

The transportation is little bit difficult

I apply vidhyavikas college mandya government college kushalnagar government college and hassan rajeev college NIEIT college got confirmed in first round for admission I didn't rejected I just joined after 1st round i was not waiting for other college confirmation CET exam after documents verification option entry seat allotment and choice entry finally fees payment and admission

My experience in this college

Likes

I liked the faculty of the college. they are experienced and interactive.
I even liked the maintenance of the college.
The labs are also good and maintained well.

Dislikes

There are only few fest and events in north campus.
The people in south campus hostel of north campus have to travel 14 km to go to college and it take more than 30-45 min to go.
The main club events are done in south campus and students of north campus usually can not attend those, cause they 14km apart

I got a rank of 14k in KCET. I got seat in this college via KCET in obc category. This college was the best college in college I would get seat. This college is in top 10 college of karnataka. More over the co-founder and CEO of infosys i.e Narayan Murthy was an allumini of this college, this facinated me more to join this college.

Likes

our college provides good placements especially for IT departments
We get very good teaching staff, we can trust on their skills
friendly environment all around the campus

Dislikes

the location of the college, north side csmpus is located outside the city

Admission:

The main reason for choosing this college was the city when it comes engineering in karnataka , we find bengaluru as filled and congested place,so as an alternative for bengaluru i thought of joining in mysuru and through KCET i got into NIE (north)

Likes

I liked the curriculum and way of teaching in the college.
There much experienced and updated teacher.

Dislikes

The thing I don't like is the 2 diff campus places. the same college has 2 campus which are almost 14 to 15 km apart. south campus is oldest and has all core branches like EC, mech, etc and that of north has all it branches like CSE, ISE , AIML
there few fest only and majorly all club meetings, fest, contests, programs are in south campus and who are in north campus will miss the program

I got this college through KCET. My rank was 9k and I am pure general merit student, so I got this college in 2nd round. I personally prefered this college more at all which I could have got for my rank because of the experience of the college and main factor was the place where college is placed that is Mysore. Mysore is my personal fav cause it is calm and green. The other and main factor was the rank of the college in karnataka. it stands in top colleges in karnataka. adding to this I had one extra point to choose this college was alluminies of this college, one of alllumini of this college was Narayana Murthy (founder of Infosys).

A student’s perspective at NIE

Likes

Most of the professors are excellent in their teaching skill, they use real world examples to explain complex concepts, making it easier to understand
My mentor was always available to guide me, she helped with all my questions and also provided a lot of opportunities

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is outdated and the classrooms could be more better in the ventilation and lightings

Admission:

I joined through a competitive exam called KCET which is of the state Karnataka in which the cutoff of mechanical field was 58000 All the details for the application will be provided at the office notice board, there is even a particular room for scholarships students

PU are plus 2 passout students can apply for admission,form is available in internet and also offline also. Fee reduction for kcet and comedk students. Management fee is costly nearly six lakh per annum. For everytwo module there is a test of 1 hour and per semester there is semester end examination of 3hours.

Good faculty they teach well they care student they motivate every student.
Apart from study they encourage student to involve in sports.
Good library ,latest computers and a suggestion box where you put your idea to do.

Dislikes

one thing is campus size is not big as expected.
people from staff room not helped quickly as you get any problem
canteen food is not good also they take higher amount

my quest for engineering seat in karnataka led me to comedk entrance exam.navigating the admission process helped me understand the system and even formulate some suggestion for improvement. Eligibility and application: to apply i had to ensure i scores at least 50% in PCM in 12 grade. the application form was availabe online at comedk website; RESERVATION BENEFITS: IF you applied for comedk no reservation for you . only people from karnatake get this benefits; ENTRANCE Exam: comedk is a computer based exam conducted in may. it comprises three sections physics, chemistry and math each carry 60 marks ; CUTT OFF: it depends on chosen college and branch. but you scored above 80 you bet best college; COunselling and seat allotment: it held online based on rank and available seats.the process is very simple. overall:entrace exam is very simple process after that a councelling process you get a seat.

All about NIE Institute OF Technology

Likes

I liked hostel more than college because it include all faciltiy of hot water and 24hours wifi facilty and for enjoyment we have big ground and electricity is avlaible at 24 hours
About college i liked that it have super classes and auditoriam and good no of classes so never it get crowded
And facility of lift are avalaible for both teachers and student

Dislikes

the thing i dont like is no of teacher for student and no private guidnace
it doses not have proper water facility ibn colllege in each floor
and canteen is not big enough that we can all eat always they have mess of student it also doest not h ave any good item for us

I am Anand raj from native bihar ,I applied for comedk to get in engeneering college and i secured 7000 rank then i got cse branch in that and fees are some iy is about some 2 lakh 63 thousand and reservation for only karnataka student as i from outside so i come under genral but i am obc by certificate and the improvement should be in admissio nprocess as they take full fee during consellation so its should be improvement

The friendly people they always supports in language.they don't feel like we r dumb regarding languagebarrier
The nature and surrounding is all greenery .
This has helped in self learning a lot . Gained or boost confidence.

Dislikes

As particular don't have anything to hate but this college is very far from city .
There are many rules and regulations and which have to be followed at any cost.

Admission:

Eligibility of the course is 12 th pass aggregate with 60% PCM i.e Physics chemistry and maths To find this application form uh have to search on Google for comedk paper there uh will get the all the information on the comedk dashboard .. Application dates are mainly during Feb -March Application fees are around 1100 They will declare a date to be examination to be taken . There uh would get questions on Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. There are some reservation quotas for the students who are in Karnataka they have low cutoff .
