A good college

Likes

Encouragement of faculties when participating to other college symposium , Hackathon etc.
Cultural activities are supported when students wish and stay united.
Examination are held in a decent manner with proper guidance.

Dislikes

Quality of infrastructure and restroom could be improved.
Canteen foods are good but still can be improved.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good . I got selected in placement in highest package company and I'm currently working in selected company. Separate training was also given from department side for interested students.

Good and well infrastructure college

Likes

Biggest college with a very good infrastructure.
Hostel facility was good. Canteen and mess served a variety of food.
Very good teachers and friendly with kind

Dislikes

Many sports events were conducted and it conducted should be every month
Well equipped library and also need more books.
Need more and more sports events and leadership

Course Curriculum Overview:

About 70 percentage of students were placed in that course. The highest package is 6 LPA, average package 2.5 LPA, lowest packages 2 LPA. There are 2 labs in that college. Every staffs are kindly individuals.

Infrastructure will be amazing to my college and save trees and flowers

Library was good with some great books. Wide range of books are available.
Technical symposium was a great event. It took out all our brains to the extreme thinking.
Women's day on March is such a grand celebration.

Dislikes

The teaching methodologies could be changed.
The campus infrastructure must have been improved.
The labs should be equipped with latest instruments.

Placement Experience:

Employability for my course is only based on the skill sets we acquire. However concentration throughout the curriculum was not offered in the skills, only theoretical knowledge was brought up. On average only 30% got placed. Aptitude classes were held up at the neck of the moment.

Placement Experience:

4th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. MRF Pvt ltd, TVs, L&T, Rane group of companies are visited in our college campus interviews and they give a lot of offers to our students. 1lakh is the highest and the average is 25 K as per the company and profiles offered. 95% of students are getting placed in our college campus interviews.

Admission:

one has to pass 10+2 along with the exam TNEA. One needs to have General Machinist, Electrical Machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subject to get admission.

Mookambigai College of Engineering provides with BE Automobile engineering to the interested students provided they fulfill the eligibility of having passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board. Then they will also have to give the entrance exam and on same basis, they will be selected.
