Course Curriculum Overview
My course ECE can be both specialized in hardware and software. Most students choose CSE, IT, AI & DS. Teaching methods are regular but with experienced staff. Since it is Anna University's board, the semester exams are up to it.
Internships Opportunities
The internships with stipends which were offered by our college were in TVS Brakes India Private Limited, with a stipend of 10,000 per month. Other upcoming internships are actually paying higher. Projects are well-guided.
Placement Experience
Employability for my course is only based on the skill sets we acquire. However concentration throughout the curriculum was not offered in the skills, only theoretical knowledge was brought up. On average only 30% got placed. Aptitude classes were held up at the neck of the moment.
Fees and Financial Aid
Campus jobs for last year were a little fewer actually, so this year that rate has increased. Average placement salary sums up to 3L per annum. Internships are brought out only in the final year. Financial assistance is provided by government schemes.
Campus Life
Only College Day and Women's Day are celebrated well. The technical symposium is conducted once a year. Several other programs such as Sports Day, NCC day, First year inaugural day, Graduation day, Bus day are also celebrated.
Admission
I came through my admission process via MQ. Both counseling and MQ seats are available. For the SC/ST category of students, a yearly scholarship of 57,000 which is the full tuition fee is applicable and is funded by the government.
