MPEC Kanpur B.Tech Computer Science: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The course at MPEC is designed with an engaging academic structure that includes two mid-semester exams, a Pre-University exam, and final semester exams. Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester of the B.Tech program, with companies visiting from August. On average, 60% of students secure placements with an average package of 3.5 LPA, while the highest package offered was 49 LPA by Microsoft. Although the college does not provide direct internship placements, it assists through the training and placement department for off-campus opportunities.

Companies like SalesCode.ai, OneBanc, TCS, HCL, and others offer CTCs ranging from 3 LPA to 42 LPA. The annual fee for the course is approximately Rs 1,35,000, which includes training; for the 2025 batch, it is Rs 1,00,000 plus an additional Rs 20,000 for training. The fee structure has increased from the initial Rs 1,17,000. Students can benefit from the UP government scholarship for financial assistance. The yearly fees incorporate tuition, registration, and AKTU exam fees, with reduced exam fees from the second year and no registration fee.
