MNRCET the college for underachievers and procrastinators

Likes

Quiet class room without any disturbances
Library is nice with a serene atmosphere ideal for studying
Friendly faculty who are willing to help clear doubts

Dislikes

Management stubbornness in some issues regarding students
Students, class mates who are lacking in proper manners and respect
Long travel distance from campus gate to college

I like computers so I chose computer science The curriculum is good I learn new things and do cool stuff everyday Need more projector classes The frequency of exams is standard difficulty level is normal

Likes

I liked about campus environment and cleanliness around it. and canteen facility is also available to all students for those who didn't brought their lunch can have there. and maintenance of the campus that they kept it clean and green all the time.
In our college I liked about the facility of library where I personally liked where all kinds of books are available related to my course and for other courses too mainly they provide sitting environment where students can sit and learn by themself.

Dislikes

Firstly it's very saddened to say that in our college their is no experienced staff to teach students which is the base for overall development of the students activity.
Not much but the only thing i request is to provide placements to final year students and provide them with intership opportunities and guide them to be on a right path.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friend about my course . The decision of choosing computer science makes me feels good as it's booming around. and my curriculum gives knowledge on real worls applications and too with further assistance.and about exams it's quite normal and not that too difficult students can manage it.

Likes

I liked the environment, it was carefree. Faculty were supportive albeit they were not the best at teaching but they did their best.
I liked the availability of wide variety of books. I frequently borrowed them for my readings.

Dislikes

I disliked the non availability of faculty during some semesters due to previous professors resigning.
I disliked the mediocre quality of computers in labs. They hindered me in learning practical stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as 6 / 10 as there are some electives which are outdated and also the reason I chose this course is because I had learnt a bit of programming during my school days so I wanted to get to know more about it. The curriculum could be improved by involving more practical teaching methods with more assignments instead of just plain old white board teaching.
